"I assisted my husband with scheduling an online appointment with Cheryl over ten days in advance. The appointment was confirmed by her, through both Thrive and the ZocDoc platform. She did not send an email or call to let us know that the appointment was moved or canceled in advance. She did not show up for the online appointment. My husband filled out the required pre-appointment documents and waited for over an hour for the appointment to start, consistently checking emails, phone calls, and ZocDoc in case she contacted him. Now, after the fact, she has yet to answer our calls or voicemails. She now has our personal information and we have no idea what to do. We feel frustrated, confused, and scammed. This office is VERY unprofessional. Please be careful if you are booking her online, whether for a virtual or in person appointment. She might end up with all of your personal information and then no call no show you."

"Cheryl had some great insight into our relationship and would have potentially been a decent counselor if it wasn't for the extremely poor communication. She cares more about her business than her patients. It's almost impossible to get a hold of her unless you send multiple texts & voicemails, not to mention it took over 2 weeks (multiple texts were sent) to receive a bill that she said she would send same day. She also has two ways you can book appointments with her which means two individuals can book at the same time. For our first appointment, another patient was sent home and rescheduled for a different day because of this poor business practice."

"Amanda Schwartz is not only a great listener, she’s also very patient and sets expectations about what we were here for in the beginning. Which is personally what I needed. She’s helped me become more self-aware of my actions and also of my reactions. She’s compassionate and she a created a safe space to for me to speak openly. Trusting others is not something that comes easily to me, but she helped me breakdown some of my walls which also made it easy to build trust with her. Highly recommend!"

"I would not recommend this place. I sought counseling for my 4 year old that was having some behavioral issues at her daycare and came across this place. Cheryl seemed nice enough on the phone. She informed me that she would be doing the therapy without me present, which I understood that a relationship needs to be established without the parent around. I didn't realize that I had to pay for 3 sessions before we were allowed a consultation/discussion about my child....of which I had to pay for that too as if it was a normal session. Once we got the consultation, we agreed that Cheryl would work with her school in helping the behavioral problem as well as some things we can do at home (which haven't really worked). Signed the paperwork and everything. I literally never heard from Cheryl again, despite multiple attempts to reach out. I spent $600 for 4 sessions (only 3 of which with my child) and no action really taken. Would not recommend to anyone; seek care elsewhere."
