"My granddaughters first basketball game of the season and they won 24 to 4 we had an awesome time"
"Great pool, large, and not overly crowded. Overall great time for my family and I. Only complaint, is the concessions are lacking big time."
"First time in this facility. What a great asset for the community of Eudora! While there to watch rec basketball (there were two courts with bleachers) the physical fitness room looked to have a great assortment of machines to get a good workout in. There may have been free weights too."
"I have been coming to the Eudora pool for the past year and never had an issue until yesterday. My daughter and I recently moved here and I was really excited to be a part of this nice quiet community where I have never felt unwelcomed up until this point. Yesterday, I was approached by a staff member at the Eudora pool who told me that she was getting complaints about the swimsuit bottoms I was wearing which, when they were wet became cheeky. For the most part I was in the water with my baby. But this made me extremely uncomfortable. And this had me wondering if I had to nurse my daughter, would I have been shamed for breastfeeding in public? That would’ve been more of a significant amount of skin in comparison to my swimsuit bottoms. In my opinion if someone has a problem with seeing skin then maybe they shouldn’t go to a pool. Or maybe just look away and mind your business. I know that my experience yesterday does not reflect the entire community but it really just left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m sorry that one person had to ruin the reputation of this establishment."
"This is a great pool! The younger kids will love the lazy river and the children's splash area, while older visitors will enjoy the water slide, concession stand, and sitting areas. Attached to the Eudora Recreation Center, head inside to check out the current programs being offered or the different recreation services available. Local Tip: The punch pass or family pass are definitely a better value if you plan on attending the pool often throughout the summer months. Call the recreation center for current pricing."
