"I've been going to this wonderful doctor for a long time, and every visit has been a great experience. The nurse's and the doctor make me feel comfortable, answering any questions that I may have. I'm gonna miss him as my doctor, but I hope he has a Happy Retirement!"
"I don't usually feel comfortable with a woman Ob/Gyn, much less a man, but I am very comfortable around Dr. Oberkrom. That really shows how good he is. I have a reproductive health issue I'd been asking doctors about for an actual decade, and in two appointments, he diagnosed it right away, He did a medical history, looked at current medical issues, asked me questions, and ran some tests. That's really important that he gave me that diagnosis, because now I can work to prevent many more medical issues this could cause in the future. He also noticed a symptom of an unrelated syndrome I didn't even know I had yet, and verbalized his concerns. The syndrome didn't even have anything to do with gynecology, and I was later officially diagnosed with it by a cardiologist. He was the first doctor ever to realize something wasn't normal. I often suffer unrelated chronic pain, and one time came in to the appointment for a well woman check in tears from the (unrelated to gynecology) pain. He didn't do an exam, instead telling me, "Well, believe it or not, I became a doctor to help women, not hurt them." Most doctors wouldn't care how much pain I was already in, or at least most of the doctors I've seen.He really cares about his patients. He even knows about my rare connective tissue syndrome, and how it involves multiple problems. I was in shock when I realized he had actually heard of it, much less knew about it. I asked him how he knew about something so rare and he said he "paid attention in medical school." He's always gentle, polite, and respectful. He admits when he needs to send you to another specialist, instead of the way a lot of other doctors are, who refuse to admit there's anything they don't know. I recommend him to anyone looking for an gynecologist."
