Missouri Western State University's Potter Hall is a hub of creativity and innovation, offering a variety of resources for students in the performing arts. The Black Box Theatre, located on the first floor, serves as a versatile space for student productions and is now home to the dance program. The Scene Shop, located behind the Potter Stage, provides equipment for set construction and scenic art needs. The Costume Shop, located in the basement of Potter Theatre, is fully equipped for costume design and construction. The main studio in Hearnes Center offers a green screen and computerized lighting grid for special effects projects. The media lab features state-of-the-art editing stations for cinema production courses. Additionally, Potter Hall offers computer media labs for student use and a brand new facility in the Griffon Indoor Sports Complex with advanced viewing and sound capabilities. Leah Spratt Hall provides a recital hall and screening room for small concerts and film festivals. Hearnes features a screening room for film screenings and lectures.
