"The way the owner has responded to negative reviews is completely inappropriate and unprofessional and comes of as defensive and callous. I was hoping to bring my mother to this branch because it's close to her home, but this alone is a turn off. I get why they had a bad experience."
"No issues here. The office staff were very polite. They helped every step of the way from paperwork to surgery. Dr. Wittock was very professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. My foot surgery went very well and took care of me every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Wittock for any of your ankle and foot issues. Thank you!"
"I had an appointment for my 90 year old mother in law. While getting her ready I realized I had changed purses and left all her insurance information in the other purse. That purse was in the car my husband had taken to work. It is so difficult arranging appointments for her, so I called and asked if I could bring her expired drivers license for identification purposes, which is all she has used for years anyway. Then I could have my husband fax copies of her card and current ID to the office before we arrived. I also offered to have them call her primary care physician to verify insurance. Additionally I had images that had just been done at Metro Imaging with her identification on them. OR they could have simply called the insurance number on the information faxed to them to verify valid insurance, because all they do is take a copy of the card anyway. These people are difficult for no logical reason! Run and go find a caring compassionate physicians office that can apply common sense. I understand there are policies, but the lack of reasoning after so many options were offered up, even one of using a credit card to secure payment, is inexcusable!!! Editing my review because I did not yell AND I did not omit the insurance card issue. I was annoyed as I should have been. I have actually used phone pics of our insurance cards phone for several doctors visit since the debacle with this doctors office. Also, not ONCE have I had a problem using my mother in laws expired drivers license for insurance identification. Alot of patient friendly doctors office options out there!"
"I had 2 visits here & Doctor & staff treated me awesome. I got there early both times & was taken back & seen right away. Doctor Wittock listened to me with compassion & took his time. He is very knowledgeable & helped me to solve my issues. After 2 visits I feel I am on the road to recovery, which as a runner am relieved. If I have any more problems I will definitely go back."
"I used to like this office until my most recent experience. First, I had to call back six times to get an appointment. I left several messages trying to get in. Finally, I was lucky enough to get someone to answer, and made the appointment. We showed up to the appointment but forgot our insurance card. I didn't think it would be huge deal, because we were recently there with all of our info the being the same. The nurse behind the desk told us that they couldn't see us without the insurance card on hand, even though they had everything they needed on file. I offered to have someone bring the card down, during the appointment. She said no. She sent us to the lab to print a copy (total pain in the butt) and we did that. We brought the printed copy back. She said no, she "couldn't read all of the numbers". Keep in mind....it was ON FILE!! I offered to email a copy. She said no. This appointment was for my 13 old child who had been in pain for weeks because of our previous visit. She offered us the "option" to pay in full for the appointment and be reimbursed later after insurance picked up. Seriously??? We have insurance! I tried several ways to get my child into this appointment that we waited so long for and she turned us away, knowing how much pain he was in. Also, they charge a $50 rescheduling fee, that she made sure to mention after the refusal to see my child. It's VERY clear that this business is only concerned about money and not about the well being of their patients. It's shameful. We were more than willing to do what we could to be seen that day. We were not trying to get free treatment. I would recommend seeing someone else. Maybe an office that puts the care and treatment of their patients before the dollar signs."
