"My fiance is there I have been here since 1:30 he came back from therapy at 2:45 not one nurse checked on him the room hadn't been cleaned I cleaned it except the floor he said they treat him bad it makes a person not want to be there hopefully we get better results the few weeks he's here"

"I was a patient here from February 20th to March 9th . All the doctors and the therapists were great ! My only complaint was when the aid mistaken my laundry for hospital laundry and put it with the hospital laundry . I lost a bunch of clothes because she thought it was their laundry . It was in a clear plastic bag that one of the nurses gave me to put my stuff in . It had been sitting in my room for a week . All of a sudden one day when I came back from therapy it was gone . The aide on duty thought It was hospital laundry and put it with the hospital laundry . I lost a bunch of my clothes because of that . That was my only complaint !"

"My husband, Chuck, spent 3 weeks at the the Rehab Institute last winter. He had a severe stroke on November 23 and was paralyzed on his right side. He got to experience physical and occupational therapy along with speech and music therapy. He was walking with assistance within a week of arriving thanks to his PT therapist Chris. Chris was fantastic and went over and above pushing him in new goals everyday. Katie, his OT therapist was patient and compassionate and also worked to get Chuck back to being able to do his activities of daily living. Katie the speech therapist had Chuck talking stronger and clearer every day. He was able to return to preaching within 6 weeks after his stroke. And last but not least was Abbie who provided music therapy. She sang some of Chuck’s favorite Christian songs and had him sing along. .He had Dr. Vanessa Lee as his rehab doctor and she was the best ever. We loved her and can’t wait to see her again in September. Overall it was the best experience ever. He is now able to walk with a cane and without at times. He is gaining strength in his right arm every day. He’s working on dexterity but improves daily. I have recommended the institute to many others who are needing one."

"I really can't say enough good things about this place. My dad went here after a traumatic brain injury. We first sent him to midamerica where he ended up worse than when he went it. After that traumatic experience, we took a leap of faith to st Luke's acute rehab program and it is a complete 180 from our previous experience. Everyone is kind, the rooms are private and very nice. The medical staff is proactive in bringing in the doctors necessary and initiating additional testing and resources. The therapist have all been helpful in getting him back moving around and working hard on brain processing. It was such a relief after such a horrible experience elsewhere. My dad suffered a lot of confusion and wasn't the easiest patient but everyone still treated him with love and kindness. Ashley was his nurse regularly also Bea and aid Heidi and others all brought the compassion. Beth the charge nurse really saved the day talking him through some tough times. We reeeeally appreciate each one of his nurses, aids, doctors, therapists."

"if you have a loved one at this facility, be very diligent. Our experience has been less than what we were lead to believe. We have been mislead and ignored in questions regarding previous and current injuries resulting from lack of proper protocol. We have learned, after the fact, of injuries sustained and not at all informed of others. We have had to discover, again after the fact, of broken bones and skin injuries. This is not the facility of choice."
