"Mertain Health customer service is a joke. I was hung up on two times. I initially called to check why I got a bill in the mail for services received. The representative updated the information and started the claim process. Then I had another question, she started to explain but I had trouble understanding a portion of what she was saying due to her accent. I asked her to repeat what she said due to her accent. She was clearly irritated that I didn't fully understand her and wanted to transfer me to somebody else. I declined I just told her to slow down and speak clearer but instead she hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor or manager. I was hung up on again. I called back and got Bill. I asked for a supervisor he said Mertain does not have managers or supervisor just a resolution team that he was part of. I realized complaining to this company would be pointless. They are not BBB rated and treat members poorly. Maybe my union should choose another provider when contracts are up."
