I thought that would be great for the legal aspects I am going through with his death. But nope they said the letter was only for my husband. Then why send it, he is DEAD. I guarantee he wont be signing up from his box of ashes."

"Customer service is non-existent, reps have no idea how to answer questions and blame all problems on the customer for not sending the right form! As if you have any idea what THEY need to do THEIR JOB. Requests to speak with someone local end up with - there is none. ONLY SALES NO SERVICE -- DO NOT BUY ANY METLIFE PRODUCTS - and if you inherit a policy - good luck getting ownership changed with no customer service - it won't happen."
"This is by far the worst company. In general, the customer service people are no help they have no access to anything that can help a customer out. When I canceled my policy with them after 18 months of hell and 2 rate increases they charged me 2 months worth of insurance because it was already “scheduled”. I was young and this was a cheaper option for car insurance for me and I regretted it every time I called for help with anything. Please keep looking met life is NOT WORTH IT!"
