I believe the teaching staff are attentive they are hands on and work with the students to meet their needs. The Principle and his staff are really great as well in making sure the teachers are assisting the students with reaching their goals academically."

"If I could give a lower rating you better believe I would!! This is the worst elementary school my children have been to! It amazes me that the principal is even still employed there. He obviously lies because he told me that in all the time he's been there, he's never dealt with kids that misbehave like my two boys have. Now my kids aren't angels but that HAS to be a lie, there is no way there has never been any other children at that school that haven't misbehaved! Not to mention the fact that my kids have gotten picked on multiple times and NOTHING is ever done about it! Instead of the kids that are bullying my kids getting disciplined, MY KIDS GET DISCIPLINED!!! What in the hell is wrong with this school?! Starside Elementary in De Soto, KS is by far the best school! They are diverse, they know how to handle children better, they don't put up with bullying no matter the race of the person being the bully and they don't jump to suspension or detention for every time a child isn't behaving or acts out! Starside actually has the skill, patience and understanding to work with kids who have issues! Warford, I can NOT wait for me and my children to get as far away from you as we possibly can!
