"I have so many great things to say about Discover Academy. This is a wonderful, happy, supportive place. I started taking my son to Discover when he was only 12 weeks old. As you can imagine, I was nervous and emotional about leaving my newborn son with strangers, but they were absolutely incredible. The infant room is such a calm, happy, and peaceful place. The staff is extremely professional, skilled in child development, and they truly love my son like he is their own. On days when he was a little fussy or needed a little extra TLC, they’d happily hold him and love on him as long as he needed. They were extremely supportive of my breastfeeding journey and they give us updates all day long through an app, which I love. They do fun activities and engaging play with him all day long - way more than I would normally get done at home! - to stimulate his brain and help him learn new things. The food from the kitchen is amazing - many mornings during drop off it smells like freshly baked blueberry muffins - and the outdoor play area is just lovely. It’s quiet and hidden back away from the road with grass and shade and a fun jungle gym for the bigger kids. Even the little babies get to go outside and enjoy the nice weather in the shaded, private outdoor play area. They not only care for my son when I’m at daycare, they’re our “village” - they talk us through the various developmental leaps he’s going through and give us amazing advice to help him through any challenges we may be having. I would absolutely recommend Discover to anyone and everyone! They’re the best and I can’t thank them enough. We love you Discover!"

"We LOVE this place! After moving our daughter from two different preschools due to problems, we have finally found one that feels like home. The teachers are amazing and we love the director. Very organized, up to date facilities, and like a second home for our toddler. I can't imagine ever having her anywhere else. This school gives a busy mom total peace of mind while away from my kiddo!"

"I would highly recommend this daycare. We love all of the teachers and director. They all work very hard to make each student feel very loved and welcome. Each teacher works individually with each student As well as with the group on a well-thought-Out curriculum.They go above and beyond to make sure all the children Feel loved .All staff makes our time at The daycare amazing. Miss Shannon always checks on all the families to make sure everyone's doing Well. If your child is ever sick they call to make sure that your child is doing OK. They always offer to help in any way they can. Would highly recommend this daycare."

"My daughter has been in the Olathe Academy since September of this year and I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about this facility, their teachers, and especially the Director Shannon. Not only has Shannon gone above and beyond for not only myself and my child and her understanding of my situation as a single mother, trying to make ends meet and stressing about the care provided for my child. Shannon has more than once stayed over past 6 due to my job running over. Shannon has personally reached out to me when my daughter was sick and wanted to make sure if we needed anything to let them know. I recently lost my job suddenly and unexpectedly and not only did Miss Lauri (Preschool Lead) ensure that my daughter would be able to continue to attend classes until I found a new job, Shannon told me whatever I needed she would do her best to accommodate. I have NEVER felt so safe and trusting leaving my heart and soul with these women. They take an incredible amount of pride and passion in their jobs and love the children they care for as much as they would their own. All of the teachers are amazing and everyone is a family. I would more than recommend this school for your children, as my daughter will be with them until she is in kindergarten. I love the family and team at Discover Academy Olathe. You all do an outstanding job and I cannot express my gratitude enough."

"My 2 babies have attended Disover Academy for the past 6 months and am SO thankful we chose to send our boys here! The director Shannon has been an HUGE help to my family and has gone above and beyond for my boys over and over again. Since sending my children here, they have learned and grown so much! They are always so happy to see Miss Shannon and all of their teachers in the morning and have smiles on their faces when I pick them up. It is very clear they are well loved and cared for here!!!
