"Been a customer for 18 years. That ended today. Always loved the fact that Steve, Vince and their dad, Scott would do the work, or instruct on how to do it. That apparently ended when Scott passed away. Went to buy a $500 motor, after spending about $300 couple of weeks earlier, allowed other customers to go ahead since they were busy. Watched while Kevin answered tons of questions for other customers. When I asked one I got, "You want the parts, or you want us to do it?" I picked up the old motor and walked out. If I'm going to get the chain store impersonal attitude, I'll go there, closer and longer hours. Sorry Steve and Vince, love you guys, but... After seeing response from store, 16 months later, I will add liar to my review. Everything stated in their review is complete bull. Here are the facts. Kevin practically drooled over young woman in front of me, answering every little question, instructing her on how to do, etc. I had the NEW motor on the counter. I was not trying to "do it on the cheap." Kevin threw some " better be careful" comment yo me and walked away. When I asked what he meant, I got the "you want us to do it" rude response. Incompetence is one thing, but mischaracterizing the event is another. Honesty must have been buried along with Scott. Too bad, I prefer dealing with locals."

"Used this company for an air leak detection. The company did not provide a specific date for the appointment and couple of weeks later, they just showed up. Two gentlemen showed up in an unidentified van and did not address themselves or their company, so my wife had no idea who these guys were. She called my phone to ask if I knew anything about this and I told her it should be the air leak detection company. They spent 45 minutes on the property and 30 minutes of the time talking. One guy was standing around and the other guy walk around turning the pumps on and off. They could not detect any air leaks and did not bring any equipments for testing. I spoke to one of the gentleman on the phone while they were there and I had explained to them of the air build up symptoms, but the gentleman said he did not have the pump on long enough to see the air buildup. On the same day, we had a water leak detection company show up and the gentleman from the second company pointed out 2 separate leaks from the pump housing and the fittings, which he mentioned it was making a hissing noise while the pump was running. Conducted couple of tests and sure enough, those were the leaks. Non-specialized water detection company figured it out in less than 5 minutes, while the guys from the Pool Service & Equipment did not try to diagnose or could not figure anything out. They ended up caulking couple of underwater hairline cracks near the skimmer, which we did not ask them to do. I would strongly discourage these guys to work on your pools. Glad I have all this captured on our surveillance video. I received a letter from the "president" of the company questioning my integrity and why I had hired another company to detect the leak without giving them a chance. Why would I request these guys to come back when they were unable to find the leaks in the first place?"

"My pump went out on my pool. It was covered by a home warranty. NO other pool company I contacted would even discuss replacing the pump! Kevin was very helpful and went to bat with the insurance company. VERY knowledgeable & have earned a lifelong customer if the pump replacement goes as planned."

They always have a friendly word, great advice, and demonstrate how much they value their customers by consistently going above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else- love these guys. Anyone who depends on them for pool service is in great hands!"
