Holly Ridge Apartments

"I lived at Holly ridge apartments for 10 years and I loved everything about them. Understandably because of the location, there's not a lot of job opportunities, but that goes with the territory. I was in the trucking industry so that wasn't an issue. Wages are depressed so don't expect to get rich in any employment that you do happen to find. Other than that, it's a Great place to live. Everything is within a short drive like Branson, silver dollar city. You're in the middle of the Ozarks, what's not to like??"

"Trash all over the place, there was a drive-by shooting in the parking lot, rude threatening management. I moved out and haven't heard a word about my deposit. It is totally worth spending extra money to go to a nicer place to live."

"I'll tell you about Holly ridge apartments I've been living here for 2 years won't resign at least for a third year here. If you live by 160 it's noisy apartments because of traffic if you live on other side of the property apartment building towards the quiet street it ain't that bad. My apartment floors has been updated but the appliances are old but I can understand that they're not broke why don't replace them the rent did go up from year to year for the money you get no gym no pool just a playground and less than a 1000 square feet of apartment master bedroom is a good size closet second bedroom is normal but after that there's no storage you have to go rent a storage building or downsize. HS properties if you can keep on the good side they're all right but if you get on the bad side they're not good"

"I lived in these apartments for about a year and a half. Manci that worked in the office and Sal with Maintenance were always amazing and prompt with any issues needing to be solved. Then a new property management came through and told us Manci was going to stay but they fired her if we are being honest. Then, in spring of 2020, the company was sold to another company, HS Property Management. The management is now super rude and started charging an extra $100.00 a month with no updates. When we moved out, we cleaned the apartment and did everything from the list they gave us. Paid for a carpet cleaner and then we received a letter stating that they cleaned the apartment that was $50.00 and the apartment as well which was somehow another $50.00. So we got scammed with getting our money back even though we showed our original receipts and contract. This place used to be kid friendly and wonderful neighbors, but now its not so we paid to get out of our contract and moved somewhere else."

"Giving 1 Star for a very specific reason. I lived in these apartments for almost 6 years and it was amazing. The units were clean and well renovated when we first moved in, and Manci, the property manager, was incredible. She was sweet, easy to work with, and always willing to help with whatever she could. When our downstairs neighbors started smoking and stinking up our unit, she easily allowed us to switch apartments to another building. Rent was reasonable and included water, trash and sewage and never climbed much from year to year. Then, in spring of 2020, the company was sold to another company, HS Property Management. This new company was supposedly great but several things happened right away. 1: Manci was fired even though we were told she was staying with the company. 2: Our rent skyrocketed by $100 a mo 3: Complete lack of communication and loss of personal interaction from management. Finally, when we were forced to move due to rent increase, the slapped us with a notice of what we were expected to clean upon vacating. It was the most fine-tooth-comb list I (or anyone I knew) had ever seen. Everything from pulling the range out and cleaning the sides of it, to cleaning the back of the refrigerator. I paid a service $100 to clean the apartment to the companies EXACT specifications. However, when I received my final letter from them they indicated they owed me nothing. Their statement listed Carpet cleaning and "CLEANING" on the charges that each were $57.50ea amounting to EXACTLY what my deposit was to the penny. This place used to be amazing, but for the sake of your money and sanity do not rent here. This place and company has turned into a giant scam and horrible living experience."
