"I must say it was a beautiful walk and drive along the Missouri River. I enjoyed the history and beautiful photo ops. Although the weather was a little chilly it was nice being that we are from Southern Arizona and I imagined the 94 degree weather family was telling me about so enjoyed the chill. We came to visit our daughter and wanted to see the place she is attending school. Lots of history in Atchison and the area was breaking (in my opinion) having coming from the Desert (BTW which I still love ) I'll be back in May and can't wait to show the rest of my family."

"High water in the Missouri River due to flooding, but a very impressive and enjoyable area nonetheless. Tastefully done tribute to the local military service members, and closely located to Amelia Earhart’s birthplace. Also some interesting information about Lewis and Clark."
