Park Central Apartments

"These are not a luxury apartments, but they are still nice. I lived here 2 separate times, and don’t really have any complaints. The office (specifically Lisa) was super responsive to any issues that arrived, and the maintenance team was amazing. They would be out within an hour or 2 any time you put in a service request. If you order packages to the building, they are dropped off in a special mailroom by the leasing office. This is a little inconvenient as you have to wait for them to check the package into their system, and then can only pick up during specific hours. This is much better than the alternative of never receiving what you order however!"

"I do not recommend moving into Park Central or any of Mac Properties other buildings. Their buildings are poorly taken care of and unclean, especially the laundry facilities. They care more about getting new residents into new units than they do retaining their current tenants and it will certainly show when your lease renewal comes around. I've also had maintenance make a mess of my apartment several times and our unit was incredibly unclean upon move-in. I have also been given false information by their staff on more than one occasion so I wouldn't call them trustworthy either. Overall it's just not a good building to live in and I've heard the same complaints from residents in their other buildings as well. Edit: Maintenance also keeps marking our laundry facility as clean after I put in cleaning requests but as you can see by the photos I've added, the facility is nowhere near clean. This is the type of conditions you should expect if you intend to rent a unit in this building. Edit: They have made an attempt to clean our laundry facility and they painted the floors however at this time I am not comfortable improving my review, there is still too much work to be done. Edit 5/26/23: Only a short while after they made an attempt to clean and paint the laundry room is completely filthy again. I received a notice today that the work on our laundry room had been completed and they were planning on closing the work order unless I requested more work be done. I have requested more work to be done but the fact that they were willing to try and close the work order when our laundry room is in the state it is in is unacceptable. When Mac Properties chose a communal laundry room for this building they chose to accept the responsibility of upkeep on the area. The laundry room should be cleaned by custodial staff at least several times a week if not every day and that just isn't the case. I have uploaded a second set of photos to show the condition of the laundry facility. Edit 5/30/23: There have now been multiple occasions when loud construction is going on in or near our building and I have not received notice. I work from home and I’ve asked the leasing company several times for notice of impending repairs such as these and I never receive it. Definitely not a good place for someone who works from home as you’ll never know when your work may be interrupted."

"I live at the Bellerive, actually just moved in AND was really impressed with the response to my service request. The ac unit had stopped blowing cold air. Joe Ferro came by, fixed it right up for me less than 48 hours after I put in the request. I really appreciate your time and effort, Joe and mac Property Service staff!!!!"

"My service history with MAC has been great! Joe Ferro came by my apartment today to fix the fan in my refrigerator within only a couple hours of posting my request. His manners and professionalism were of the highest degree. Thanks for doing what you can during this difficult time!"
