"This review is for Corinth Paddock. Overall, I had a good living experience here from 2021-2022. Valet trash was nice, but not necessary. I requested to opt out of this service before moving in and was told I must pay the cost every month. Good parking was limited if you didn’t pay for a parking space. Maintenance was really good about getting people out quickly for anything. I moved out on 10/15 and began having communication problems with management. I had to send numerous emails over the last (almost 2 months) inquiring about my deposit. I was told I’d get it back, then only got a partial check with no explanation. They would respond with, “we’ll get back to you”, but didn’t. Then I was told I’d get the rest in the mail. It’s 12/9 and I’ve finally got everything done there. Living experience was good, bad communication."
"I want to start by saying that I have never before left a negative Yelp or Google review anywhere, but felt compelled to after my experience. I'll begin with the positives. The maintenance staff (Steve, Albert, and others) have been wonderful and kind throughout my stay. Also, the place is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I moved in here in May of 2021. That summer, I experienced water getting in my bathroom and closet from the unit above. I contacted maintenance and this issue was fixed. In June 2022, I began to experience the same issue, but worse. Water began actively leaking into my bathroom and closet. I contacted the office and it was 4 hours until someone came by to assess. He looked at the water coming in my bathroom, said he would be back, and did not come back. The initial water leak finally stopped that day, but continued whenever the shower in the unit above me was in use. I put in multiple maintenance requests and contacted the office over the course of the next month, with no response. I have attached a picture of my closet ceiling at the end of the month of June. A significant amount of mold had accumulated on the ceiling. The bathroom ceiling was finally fixed after I showed this picture to management. The closet ceiling (pictured) was simply painted over. I requested to break my lease due to the poor response to this issue. I had intended to stay here until the spring of next year, but felt the place was unlivable. I was forced to pay $1500 to break the lease, all for an issue that was not my fault and was only exacerbated by the apartment complex neglecting to fix the issue on multiple occasions. I moved out on September 15. I was then charged October rent ($1100). I was no longer living there but was charged rent. I contacted the office for a refund and they with withheld these funds, stating they needed to assess damages in my apartment prior to giving a refund. They ultimately returned around $600 to me. I feel that I was taken advantage of financially by Corinth Paddock all for issues that were due to poor management and neglect on the part of the complex."
"Kendall and Lamar were both very gracious, helpful and professional. Moving in went seamless and I appreciated their genuine and sincere care. The two professional contractors on sight fixed my bathroom issue the next day. I must say I really love the layout of our new apartment, the choice of light gray paint color, the beautiful black granite counter tops and new kitchen sink with the white tile backsplash. Bravo on taking an older property and restoring her, and in time bringing her back to her former glory. I will be very happy here and I am sure many others. I will care for this property as if I owned it, and I look forward to my time here. Thank you!"
"First off I want to say it’s a great area to live, prairie village is quiet, safe and beautiful. But the apartments on the other hand are awful. I’ve been here for 3 years and ever since pinnacle took over management, the apartments went downhill. I’ve been asking to get A/C fixed now for 3 weeks and still no one has come. Sometimes the apartment won’t get any cooler than 90 degrees. The sinks leak, the apartments are outdated and poorly insulated. The laundry facilities half the time aren’t working. Even the lawn care sucks now. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT move here. Worst experience I have ever had and my lease couldn’t be over soon enough."
"I love living here. The location is perfect. The apts are a nice size. Of course we all find little things wrong here and there but the office staff is great at getting maintenance requests out in and the maintenance team gets in and fixes things in a timely manner. The property manager is amazing. I had a major maintenance request that would have been denied at many other properties, but she made it happen! She is a dream to work with! I can tell the staff cares about the residents. I would Recommend this property to anyone looking."
