Reviews of Corinth Valley
"I gave a bad review below and someone from reginal reached out to make it seem like they cared about what happened when in reality they just want to make themselves look good because nothing was done about it -- please read below to find out more. that person gave me a customer service number and said we would be happy to discus this further, so I called the number and it was some company in Canada that had no idea what I was talking about or had never heard of any of the properties I was calling about. This has all around been a negative star experience and doesn't even warrant a 1 star."
"I was all set to move into an apartment and paid $655 for the deposit and admin fee. When I went to sign the lease there was so many different fees attached to each month I decided it was too Expensive look out for all the fees they nickel and dime you. I called management and was told I would get my $400 refund for the deposit if I pulled out and I did. Come to find out I was misinformed. They wouldn’t give me my money back and I couldn’t afford to loose 655 so I told them I’d stay. Well, the apartment I was supposed to move into was 790 a month and I was told now I’d have to pay 840 a month for the same apartment since I told them I’d just stay. I didn’t think that was fair since I was Misinformed. They said it was because the market fluctuated. It was 2 weeks. I reached out to management about it and asked if I could please still get the same price I was Quoted because I was misinformed And then after I heard back they raised the price again on me to 850 a month. that’s crazy to me and I suggest not supporting a company like this! ruuuuunnnn"
"To start, I really love the size and layout of my apartment unit. I’m not a fan of the windows that are VERY rickety and thin (and don’t shut all the way) or the loud creaky floor, or the general oldness. However I understand that that is just the age of the building and not managements fault. So it’s all good. Maintenance guys are nice. I had some issues in the summer getting my AC replaced and had to really beg and plead with the office to replace it. Had to spend a couple of nights at a friends house when I couldn’t get my apartment below 90 degrees with an electric bill of $250. But they finally fixed and it’s fine now, especially since winter showed up. And suddenly now there are more utility fees that were never mentioned to me before I signed the lease so I’m now out a new $60/month. Laundry machine in the basement has made my clothes stink so now I go to the laundromat. But overall I like the apartment and the grounds as well as the neighborhood. I think I’m just growing weary of renting in general."
"I am pleased with my space but really feel you need more maintenance people. Frank is great but has too much to do. I need touch up paint in hall bath and it’s been 4 weeks. My light flicker. Concerned about fire so don’t use certain lights. Why have the leaves outside not been picked up and hate the fact I have to pay for valet garbage pick up. They won’t take boxes. Will only take things in container. I pay $25 a month for garbage and I don’t need or want valet."
"Horrible experience. I don't even know where to begin. I lived their from 2018 through 2020 and I have been lied to, over charged, miss billed, and generally has such a miserable experience that I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you move there be prepared to spend countless hours waiting on them to answer the phone and reading through the fine print of every contract and bill they send you. They decided my renters insurance was expired, and apparently that's a sixty dollar a month fee. Turns out my insurance wasn't expired. I showed them the policy was in fact in force and that they were listed as a third party on it. They apologized and after two weeks removed the charge. The next month, same issue. And again the same month after that. And after that. This went on for 6 months. You need to read every statement they send you with a fine tooth comb and get ready to spend time on the phone with their head office. It will take multiple calls to reach some one because they usually don't answer. Even though they style themselves as being in a nice area, my car was stolen out of the parking lot there and the police never found it. The blinds in my apartment shattered upon the lightest touch because they were 30 years old and sun baked. I expressed a concern about this to maintenance, David, and he said not to worry about it as the blinds were 30 years old and it would be ridiculous to charge someone for them being at the end of their life. David lied, they absolutely charged me for them. Every 2 months the sink in the bathroom would back up and need to be flushed out. The shower temperature fluctuated drastically and rapidly without warning. So get used to freezing and then suddenly getting burned. At one point they decided to rip out all the carpet in the hallway leading up to my apartment. They then realized that they ripped out the wrong carpet. They left all the nails, tack strips and screws sticking up for someone to step on and decided they'd get around to it 3 months later. They also tried to force me to extend my lease by 14 days and thought that those 14 days were worth 130% of a full months rent. I managed to get out of that bill, but only barely so be careful you follow move out instructions to a T. They decided to keep my entire security deposit because I didn't scrub out the oven when I moved out. The list goes on on and these are just the highlights. Stay the hell away from this place."
