"I recently went on a tour of this place, but I must say that the website doesn't accurately reflect the true state of the community. The website appears to be outdated and does not accurately portray the information shared by the lady in the office. The tour itself felt rushed, and the apartment I was shown wasn’t even clean. It seems like the entire community is in a run-down condition. While it may have been a great place in the past, it is evident that they haven't maintained it properly. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend or consider this place for a move."
"This has been my residence for the past few years. It has been a safe, quiet, and comfortable place. Lawn maintenance is always done in a timely manner to make sure the yard is manicured. Units are spacious and include stainless steel appliances, wide-paneled blinds for windows and I had a vaulted ceiling in the Master BR, and additionally with an attached garage - all for a reasonable price! Property management and staff are friendly, attentive, and personable. This extends to the maintenance staff, as well. As an example, once when out of town I realized I had misplaced my garage door opener as I sat in Seattle's airport. I called the main office and left a voice-mail. Within minutes maintenance returned my call. Since my flight would land in KC once the office was closed, he gave me his personal cell to notify him once I Ubered home to resolve this situation!! I was so surprised and impressed at the same time - it shows how they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Another example of how great management and staff is was when my dishwasher breathed its last breath - no lights on the dashboard - nothing. I left a voice-mail and within an hour maintenance showed up at the door and repaired it within 30 minutes!! I will truly miss this place. Thanks Erica, Jordan, Mike, Ray and any others that I may not have had the pleasure to meet!!"

There are many well maintained walking trails in the neighborhood that are pet friendly. The day that our lease began, we walked in to find a lovely welcome note awaiting us along with a nice gift for each of us. Most importantly, the entire staff of Staley Crossing have embraced our family and made us feel welcome from our first visit. My family and I would highly recommend Staley Crossing to prospective residents as a great place to live!”"
"I've been here 4 years. Each year I feel my experience getting worse. Year 1 was great. I've stayed due to convenience. I was told a club house would be built behind the leasing office....that never happened. I've had a rent increase every year and I can't see the benefits of the increase. Year 1, snow removal included the sidewalk PLUS the driveway...not anymore. My microwave went out on 10/2. Maintenance was dispatched on 10/5 to fix it but unfortunately was unable to do so...not the maintenance rep's fault....he tried. I was told that a new microwave door is needed. It's 11/2 and still no working microwave. I had to purchase a microwave which is taking up counter space. I hate writing bad reviews but this is ridiculous and I'm frustrated and disappointed. Pros: conveniently located....not far from the airport, Zona Rosa, downtown, Liberty, grocery stores, banks and restaurants, etc. Lawn is well maintained. Cons: How management handles tenant issues is lacking. Communication is subpar."
"We've lived here for over 4 years now and there's been issues with management. When we first moved in back in 2018 we had amenities, snow removal and lawn service was great and predictable. Now, we have no amenities, no snow removal and the grass is cared for here and there but quality is terrible despite rent going up every single year. Our rent has increased by over $200 since then and we've lost more than we've gained. They tried to switch over to an off-site management company that was completely inadequate. Somewhere in the back and forth between companies they've left our dog and kids off of multiple leases and it gets frustrating having to track down someone at the office to fix clerical errors. We've also had issues with crime here. It didn't use to be this bad and lately it's getting more violent. Armed robbery on multiple occasions in broad daylight. I will say that maintenance is usually very friendly and quick to resound to issues that arise. I just wish that management was better and that they fix the rent algorithm. There's no way they can justify rent increases like these with everything they've taken away and with the decline in services provided. When people ask me how much I pay in rent, they're usually shocked at the lack of amenities at the price we pay."
