Mitchell Park Plaza

"I would rather be homeless than choose to sign another lease with Mitchell Park or Epic Property Management again. I signed in July of 2023 first week in I reported water leaking from the windows, the ceiling, etc. they did nothing. I waited 8 MONTHS at one point I was paying 1200 to sleep on my mattress on my living room floor. I wasn’t able to cook in my kitchen from November until I left just this week (3/5) due to leaking right above the stove. Ended up calling the city, city viewed the apartment and gave them from February 9th to March 9th to make repairs and they did absolutely nothing. I ended up getting a chest infection from mold inhalation so I decided to leave regardless of my lease. Then all of a sudden they wanted to try and get to the repairs. The underground parking, a month in somebody went through and ransacked a buck of cars, floods with sewage every other month, and my car was damaged by leaking hot water. Oh! And that, “awesome security” they advertise? I literally had somebody break into my apartment while I was in the apartment, thank god I had a dog that chased them out, but Ashley (the deadbeat slumlord) said she couldn’t break our lease or transfer me to another unit since my door was unlocked and it was, “our fault”. Seriously, avoid at all costs. This place is a joke and you’re literally paying to get sick. If you do decide to view and they try to show you APT 601? RUN. Also, when they say, “It doesn’t always smell like this.” When you get to the apartment floors, yes it does. The garbage shoot REEKS every single day. And they will purposely take you a longer route to the apartment to lead you away from the smell."

"Wonderful place to live dog and cat friendly!! Jessica and Jen in the office are awesome they do the they can with tons of units to care for!!! Maintainance Isabel’s me Tim and his team might not get your stuff fixed that day but remember they also have tons of units to take care of and they will get to you!!! Couldn’t ask for a better place to live!!!!!!"

"The new management at Mitchell park is absolutely horrible. They’re dismissive of their residents, what I assume to be the new property manager is from hell itself. My apartment is riddled with mold in the bathrooms because of whatever they have going on with their systems. The complex is consistently covered in animal poop and pee, the animal park is constantly filthy and is only cleaned using a couple sprinklers that don’t do their job, the residents are loud, dirty, disrespectful, and destructive. This is NOT the place you want to live if you value your overall health."

"Could be a nice place. It is supposed to be non-smoking but smelled smoke everyday so it was not enforced. The walking track is a nice perk but the area was never cleaned, bathrooms filthy and never supplied with toilet paper. Moving in was hard because the loading dock is so high up from the ground. We left our place immaculate and it took months and persistence to get our deposit back."

"Mitchell Park Plaza Lofts, has made many great changes…The new Management Team including Head of Maintenance & Housekeeping are friendly, easy to work with and very responsive. I would recommend the new Mitchell Park Plaza Lofts to anyone! We are really looking forward to swimming in the new pool too!"
