"They cancelled my appointment and before I even had a chance to call back (within the hour) they filled the spot. Now I need to wait another 2 months to get in. They overbook themselves and it is so unprofessional. Coming from a healthcare worker myself, I would never recommend."
"Cannot reach anyone to schedule or confirm procedure. Calls go to a recorded message asking for a call back number. No one calls back. I tried several times last week and again this week. I'm in the area today and have decided to go to the office myself."
"Dr Bhatti has made my quality of life like death for 3 years. 2 days after an upper endoscopy I started with acid vomiting in the middle of the night keeping me awake for hours. 3rd month went to sulphur vomiting I have developed 5 condition since she put her hands on me the morning in November 2020. Clipping my vagus nerve leaving my with debilitating conditions. I’m am unable to leave home, work in an office and have missed out on a happy life with family. She cancelled appointments, went on vacation, left the country leaving not even NP to care for her patients."
"I'm a 38 year old female who was suffering GI symptoms for a while, and have a family history of colon cancer. I took these issues to my regular physician who then referred me to Mercy GI doctors on Kennerly. It was a bit of a wait to have a consult with Dr. Abdalla, but many GI specialists have a long waiting period. My initial consult was very smooth-- he asked lots of questions and was thorough. My colonoscopy and endoscopy was setup immediately for the following week. It was a very easy process-- the prep is the worst but I'm not sure there is an easier prep than the 1 gallon jug? If you don't finish the prep, you won't have a good procedure, so make sure you finish it! The staff and nurses were lovely the day of my procedures. Everyone was super professional and the doctor discussed my results immediately after. Biopsies came in a few days later. I'm very happy I got the procedures done for peace of mind and glad I chose Mercy!"
"I saw Tracy, the nurse practitioner and they don't listen to the patient, especially if you explaining that your on an extremely limited budget and ask if they can work with you to do procedures in office so they would be covered under the copay or ask if there are ways lower income patients with a huge deductibles can get treated. Nope, didn't listen to a word i said, just condescending and talked down to me ignoring anything I said, offering options that don't apply and ordered a slough of tests and panels that cost hundreds despite my telling them I won't be able to do this. So a total waste of my time and $50 copay. These Doctors forget who is keeping them in business. Go elsewhere for real care."
