"I have been seeing Dr.Layugan for a couple of years now for general health issues ranging from acurte to chronic. She always takes my input into account and often has morte than one way to try to reach the desired goal. The staff is friendly and it is never a negative experience when I have a visit. Either scheduled or emergency."
"I visited the place on May 20th 2022. I injured my hand at work and my supervisor sent me and my patient there for blood test. I can't say much about the doctor but the nurse/assistant whatever he is. The guy didn't change his gloves the whole time I was there. He had the same stained glove on his right hand since we checked in to register then he wore the left one in the room when he drew blood from my patient and myself while handling paperwork and bouncing to other patients without changing. How do I know it's the same gloves? Because I never saw him do it and he has dark stain on his right hand glove. The results was infected arm and 2 weeks of antibiotics. Payement for shutting my mouth and not asking him to follow a proper basic infection control steps. Worst place EVER."
"I can’t speak about the doctor, but the staff needs more training. I came in on April 11 with severe heart palpitations only because I was very near the urgent care when the palpitations started. Even with chest complaint, I was not triaged when I arrived. After 30 minutes waiting, and increasing chest pain, I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be, because I was considering calling an ambulance. She said it would be another 10 or 20 minutes. A short time later, a nurse finally took my vitals but he seemed unskilled at this. He took my blood pressure (twice, for some reason?) and when the pulse-oximeter showed a heart rate over 200, he said it must be broken. This happened with 2 different pulse-oximeters. I finally asked for an EKG, so he went to go see if they had one. Then he came back, but had forgotten what the ekg was called. He asked me to remove my shoes and anything metal (which is not necessary for an ekg, so I really don’t think he was properly trained to use it). Then he appeared to have trouble figuring out how to turn on the machine. At this point, my husband arrived and I had no confidence whatsoever in the care I was receiving, so I decided to leave. We went to the ER where I was rushed to a trauma room to have my heart restarted to reset the rhythm. I was then diagnosed with SVT (supra-ventricular tachycardia), which is life-threatening if untreated. Yes, I should have gone to the ER first, clearly. But even urgent care health care professionals should have immediately and properly checked my vitals and sent me to the ER. 30 minutes of waiting and 15 minutes of incompetence delayed the emergency care I needed. And I never once saw the doctor’s face."
"Worst Urgent Care ever. I went in to get my broken toe looked at, and after waiting for an hour, the nurse asked me if I am waiting on someone. I said, I am waiting to be seen. He says, we thought you didn't want to be seen because of a deposit. No, I waved the workers comp file because of the deposit. I still wanted to be seen, but at that point, I was done and wanted to leave. I am pretty sure they took money for my co-pay off my card, but when I went to leave, they told me I was not charged. I checked my account and it was $25 less. Shady place."
"This doctor has a problem actually listening to the patients. It's like she hears what they say but she doesn't listen. I came with my wife because she told me the last visit she was not listening to anything she was telling her and it was worse than I thought. It is clear this doctor does not understand basic things that other doctors we've gone to understand. I would stay away from here. The only reason we came here in the first place was because we just moved here and couldn't get in as new patients for a primary care doctor elsewhere because of the pandemic, but honestly at this point I rather wait until other clinics finally start accepting new patients than have to deal with a doctor that won't listen to you. I forgot to mention how when we got there and checked in we over heard her asking the staff if we even had an appointment when we made the appointment a week in advance."
