"Staff was polite but we were told our baby's flat spot was severe and could require 2 helmets. They couldn't give us a quote with insurance and said without insurance was around $7000 to $8000 per helmet and we would go in weekly for checkups. After submitting the insurance authorization, we still had to pay $2500 on a gold plan. Their cranial scanner also requires baby to be sitting. I found a different place at the Summerlin hospital to get a second opinion and our baby's condition was described as moderate, the helmet and entire treatment was quoted for a total of $1500 WITHOUT insurance. Our baby can lay flat on the scanning table and it would still do a 360 imaging. So definitely going there instead, with insurance I'm hoping to get it for $800 or less."

"I was very impressed with all Cranial Technologies staff and their equipment. It was a very comfortable environment for our almost six month old son. Upon our initial assessment, the clinician noticed an issue with our son’s neck and recommended he receive physical therapy. If it had not been for Cranial Technologies, we may not have caught this as timely or at all, which would have been detrimental to our son’s development. Based on your advice, we saw a physical therapist at Children’s Mercy that very same week. They confirmed that he does have Torticollis and would benefit from neck stretches. Within days he began rolling on his side in the crib, and within two weeks he was making major improvements. Upon further evaluation by CM Hanger Clinic, he no longer has moderate Plagiocephaly, and is on track to be in the normal range soon. If it had not been for the free evaluation you offer, we may not have gotten our son the important care he needed to avoid further damage. I cannot say enough how much this means to us!"
