"Absolute terrible service from front office staff, called 4 days in advance of needing new prescription. Was sent straight to voicemail every single time, when asked to speak to Vanhorns assistant lady said “there’s nothing I can do to help you”. I don’t think I have ever experienced a front office staff as poor as vanhorns front office. On the other hand Dr. Vanhorn is a 5 star doctor I would recommend him to anyone with a kid who has anxiety or adhd. Do not even try calling to talk to the front desk, walk in to the facility to talk to the embarrassment of front desk workers."

"Truly the worst client service experience I have ever encountered. We are trying to get my son in as a new patient and we had a last minute medical issue arise that required we change the appt. The scheduling receptionist was extremely unhelpful, condescending, and unprofessional. She left my wife in tears after the encounter. I personally called back to attempt to work through the issue and experienced the same customer service as my wife. She talked over everything I attempted to say or offer and at one point she openly laughed at me when I characterized the interaction as inappropriate, especially in terms of patient care. I finally asked to be escalated to a supervisor, to which she replied there wasn't one available, but did send me to the voicemail for Dr. Vanhorn's assistant. I left a detailed message, but have not heard back from anyone within the last 3 days. The choices for doctors that treat teenagers to help in adjusting their medications are very limited, and we have waited a long time and were excited to get the opportunity to get our son in as a patient with Dr. Vanhorn, but the treat/regard of his staff and the practice's willingness to help in rescheduling a much need appointment is very disturbing. We have an appointment now rescheduled with another Dr. in the same practice for the middle of March."

"Dr. Vanhorn has been amazing for my son. He has a lot of anxiety and adhd and he has worked with him and really figured out appropriate meds that side effects aren’t terrible. He really listens and spends time getting to know your kiddo and wants them to succeed."

"He's been a great doctor for my children and I've recommended the doctors in the practice to many. I give him 5 stars. However the office staff gets 2 stars. They don't return calls, are not helpful, passive and condescending even. I understand processes are required in any business but in this line of work bedside manner is crucial. Talking to them is enough to push a sane person over the edge"
