"This review is not for the doctors or staff but strictly about the way the financial department operates. The ONLY reason I didn't give this review zero stars is because the doctors and medical staff were wonderful. That being said, I have never had such a disorganized and vague billing procedure from a medical institution in my life. Honestly, I thought the bill was a scam with how vague the information provided was. You get bills in your email that just have the amount due. It does not have an itemized list of what you're being charged for. All the lines say are "medical services". You have to call and ask for what EXACTLY you are being charged for. The bill also does not provide a due date. They just expect you to pay it the day they decide to send you the bill out of the blue. The only way I found that out is by calling the financial services department. Which brings me to the person I talked to on the phone: They were very short and not helpful and couldn't get off the phone fast enough (after I thanked them they just hung up instead of asking if I needed help with anything else). I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say this is due to the recent merger with another medical provider. But I will NEVER be coming back to Olathe GI Specialists again. This was the most irritating medical experience I've ever had. Again, the actual doctors and office staff were WONDERFUL. It was the financial services department that needs to be more organized and helpful."

"For 3-4 years my 89 year old mother was a patient, but drs always had her see PA Anita Kish Thank goodness Kish is retiring because all Kish did was prescribe pricey medications for my mom and NEVER helped solve her issues. My mom found a new dr and new Dr diagnosed my mother in one visit! Gallbladder. She had her gallbladder removed and is doing fabulously. My further research reflects Kish accepted $36,000 in years 2021 and 2022 from several pharmaceutical companies! That’s corrupt!!!!! AVOID THIS OFFICE."

"Anita Kish was very thorough, however getting ahold of a nurse to ask questions to is near impossible. It took a week for them to answer my question about my labs they released but said nothing about. Now waiting another week to hear back again. UPDATE: I reached out to the office in April 2023 regarding some pain. Ended up hospitalized for 5 days. Figured they’d contact me eventually… never heard from them. Transferred all care to another clinic and I’m pretty sure they have no idea. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!"

"My doctor's office faxed a referral over for a colonoscopy in November 2022 and these people have STILL not contacted me to get it scheduled. I have tried calling myself a TON of times and each time I get a voicemail for the scheduling department who has not returned a single one of my calls. Don't bother trying to reach the front desk because you'll get a voicemail there as well. They harp on people all the time about the importance of these screenings but won't answer the phone or return a call to get you scheduled. God forbid it be an emergency. People can literally die waiting on these people to schedule screening for early detection and/or treatment. Sad!!! DO BETTER Olathe Health GI!!!!"

"Called to schedule a colonoscopy at 9am in the morning and had to leave a message on the scheduling voicemail. They called me back around 4 pm and was able to schedule within 2 weeks. I was scheduled with Dr. Attaluri. I haven't seen him before and the first time was in the OR. He was courteous and answered my multi questions before I was put to sleep. My wife spoke to him while I was still out and she stated he was courteous. I had no complications which was one of my biggest fear. Overall I had a great experience and will use again. Side Note: when my dr referred me to GI Specialist I instant googled and saw the low rating and was worried. Please don't be discourage by some of the older reviews. Another Note: I never went to the office to experience the cleaness of the office or phone ringing like other reviews stated."
