"Good luck trying to get someone to answer the phone at Family Practice. They have multiple receptionists and each time I call I have to leave a message. Also do NOT see Kendra Butner. She has horrible bedside manner, and gives zero regard to your previous medical conditions. Horrible."

Almost everyone that works there is rude. The doctors don't care about your problems and they only treat you for ONE issue per appointment. American QUACKERY"

"This place will rob you blind. They do all their billing through the Missouri Medical Western Hospital. So no matter what you go there for they bill you as of your going to the hospital. My daughter's PCP was there. Her mother took her in for a check up and two shots for school. After insurance 468.62. For two shots and a check up??? I expected to pay something but that's ridiculous. I recently took my wife to the ER for a swollen lip and only paid $205 for that. How is check up more expensive then an ER visit. They use to be great before they let the hospital handle they're billing."

"I need to establish care after moving to Warrensburg and it was recommended I go here. Why, I do not know. My mother has been a patient there for years. They refused to refill my mother-in-law’s medication she’d been on for YEARS until she followed up with her provider, then rescheduled her appointment due to no fault of her own, and would not fill her script in the interim. She was sleepless night after night with nerve pain because somebody over there was on a power trip. Completely separately, my wife was just put on a medication by one of their doctors that 1) is a controlled substance and 2) makes her feel very sick when she doesn’t take it. She missed a followup appointment for her refill on Friday apparently, completely accidentally because we’ve dealt with the death of her friend/coworker, a surgery on one of our dogs to remove a metastasized melanoma, an emergency vet visit for another of our dogs, and both of our careers keeping us so busy we hardly get enough sleep, let alone time for self-care. She just forgot. It happens. They told her to find another doctor. They refuse to see her, stating she’s missed three appointments in a year. I’m not even sure that’s true, but we’d/she’d be happy to pay a missed appointment fee, reschedule and move on to another provider thereafter as asked, yet the offer is refused—they “don’t do that.” They won’t even answer the phone on callback. Irresponsible prescription practices combined with inflexible and unforgiving policies does not make for quality patient care. What happened to “first do no harm”?"
