"I took my mother in to see Dr. Perkins since he was the specialist during her hip surgery. While in rehab she was prescribed a pill by other doctors to reduce swelling that also happened to help her breath and we needed to have the Dr. renew the prescription. The staff asked that we come early and get an x-ray of her lungs and it didn't look good to me, but I'm not the doctor. Dr. Perkins remembered her and then he decided she needed a nebulizer with medication. He failed prescribe the medication for the nebulizer so the supplier had to get a prescription from him before they could bring it out. During the appointment we emphasized that the previous prescription to reduce water retention was necessary because she begins to have trouble breathing within a day or two without them. Dr. Perkins said that he would like her to get an x-ray and I said she got one already, so he said he would look at it and come back. Then staff came in to give her some tests that didn't look good breathing wise. We then asked when the doctor is coming back and they said he has already left the office without answering many of our questions. The staff refused to cooperate in setting up appointments that would coincide with other appointments. Overall, these idiots have NO customer service skills and probably shouldn't even be in business except for the fact they are connected with a major hospital. We have been forced to seek a primary care doctor to try and get my mother breathing properly again, because of the refusal to prescribe the pill for edema."
