"Disgustingly rude call representative/ front desk lady. I don’t know what her position is. The girl who’s working the phones right now as of March 11, 24 @ 1:14pm. She has a disgusting tone of voice and this is why nobody wants to come to y’all. A little bit of compassion when you’re working in the medical field would be nice. If you can’t provide such a simple gesture then find a new position like the police department. You’ll do great there. NOT in the women’s clinic."
"Scheduled an IN PERSON appointment for severe health issues, got a telehealth appointment instead. Logged in for the appointment and waited, nothing for 30 min then the doctor was connecting, immediately the app closed and when i opened it back up, nothing showed for my appointment, no option to reschedule. got a letter in the mail saying i failed to keep the appointment. highly disappointed in this clinic."
"I was very uneasy at my 1st OB appointment a couple weeks ago. Went to see who I thought was an OB but turns out she was just a midwife (in some case this would be fine but this is my 1st and I just felt like some of my questions were brushed off). I saw the nurse and the student first then the midwife. The first two didn’t have an issue with but when the midwife walks in the first thing she says to me is “I thought we weren’t trying for this”. Well here we are and I’m very happy about it so that was the first strike in my opinion. I work in health care and that is not something I would ever think to say to someone. Doesn’t matter what you talked with them about 5 months ago. Then we were checking out at the belton location and the front desk girl is going on and on about how tired she is and mumbling about other patient’s appointment types trying to get me booked for an ultrasound. (Unprofessional) The following week when I go to a different office for the ultrasound everything was typical until I go back. To say I was uncomfortable is an understatement. This is my 1st baby, 1st pregnancy and I have also had two internal ultrasounds before this one (unrelated to pregnancy and a couple years apart). The lady was very rushed in everything I was trying to move out of the way of a door she wanted me to go in to change and she’s like NO and rushing me in there. Then she does her thing which was very uncomfortable felt extremely rushed and careless. My visit with her was maybe 5-10mins and that’s pushing it. I go to the front desk to check out and they could see how upset I was the girl made me cry during the ultrasound because of how rough she was. So I know my irritation was all over my face. I calmly asked for my records to be transferred and left. I do not recommend this office to anyone who is newly expecting and no one should ever feel that uncomfortable when you have to expose yourself like that."
"I had the pleasure of speaking with Mrs Karen today. She was so nice to speak with!! Very courteous, transparent, hopeful, kind, knowledgeable and amazing!! Not to mention she’s provided service to this practice for 35 years and I am thankful for her services alone. There should be more healthcare providers like her around. Thank you so much"
"I wish there was a way I could only rate one staff member. Overall, I'd give the practice five stars. Front desk staff is friendly and the midwife I've been seeing (Katie Lorand) has been helpful, caring, and informative. I would give those two five stars. The ultrasound tech in the office is a different matter. I would give her one star. At my 20 week ultrasound, she rushed through, not talking about anything she was doing or measuring. She refused to tell me the location of my placenta or how big my baby was measuring. When I asked her about gender, she took a quick look and said she wasn't sure, but it looked like probably a girl. She didn't spend ANY time trying to be sure. I asked how sure she was (50%? 90%?) and her response was, "Oh, I can't say for sure. You'll know for sure when the baby is born." Well THANKS! That's so helpful! Now mind you, this is not my first baby. It's my fifth. I've had numerous ultrasounds at other labs and offices (this is my first time with this midwife group) and have never had any tech be so dismissive of my questions. And they have always tried to determine gender the best that they can. They also usually give multiple pictures of toes, hands, stomach, heart, and a "gender" shot. She gave a few pictures of the face and a couple of the profile. If you're with Midwest Women's Healthcare and need an ultrasound, I would recommend requesting going to a different tech. This woman needs replaced. She has multiple negative Google reviews. It's time to hire someone who cares about the patients and has decent bedside manners."
