"I had an 8:40 a.m. appt. with Dr. Shais Jallu on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. I arrived in his office between 8:40 and 8:45. I sat down to catch my breath [because of COPD] before going to counter. By the time I got to the counter, it was 8:48 a.m. I was then told that I could not have appt. because I was 15 minutes late. At the most, I was 8 minutes late. In past appointments with Dr. Jallu, he has spent no more than 5 minutes with me. I am 74, and have serious COPD. I had made this appointment two months ago. A follow up discussion with someone named Becky was very unsatisfactory. She kept saying that I was 15 minutes late when their sign in sheet shows 8:48 a.m. Not only will I never see Dr. Jallu again, I will no longer see my St. Luke’s Cardiologist. I see that Midwest Pulmonary Group has a 2.6 average rating. That is much too high. TENILLA Sheehan"

"I can see why this place has a low score. I called in to make an appointment. It took forever just to be told what date was available which would be another 3 weeks out after being referred here and dealing with issues for 3 months. Waste of time if you need to be seen quickly."

"Dr. Schlacter is a smart guy. Unfortunately many times he shows a lack of concern for his patients and on some months only able to see patients 2 days in that month with very limited hours. I have been hospitalized with chronic asmatha twice in last 6 weeks and he has not had time to call or see me. In addition his office made a mistake and said one blood test was off the chart but failed to tell mention that. Further they failed to tell me that a follow up test was needed. The nurse indicated it was an oversight on their end. I had blood drawn over 30 times in last 6 weeks and it sure would have been nice to know that I needed this additional allergy test. In past he told me I could take a shot that cost $300 a month that might help, but I declined at that time because he was also giving me new medicine that was cheaper and that hopefully would also work. Now that I am much worse than when I first started seeing Dr. Schlacter, I need to get the allergy test panel done and will reevaluate the cost and effectiveness with a Doctor for second opinion to see what if anything can help. My Mom and Grandma died of asmatha related problems. It scares me to think what is happening to me. I wish Doctor Schlacter would have told me upfront that he is to busy and may not be able to see me when I really need help. As I requested to his nurse, Tonya, A quick ten minute call from him to me would be appreciated. She called him and then she called me back in 15 minutes and said he didn't have time to talk with me. Strange that he has almost instant time to talk to his nurse, but showed a lack of care for his patients to not call me direct. I hope Dr. Schlacter learns from my experience and treats his future patients with more caring and respect. I am considering filing a lawsuit against him for negligence and errors that caused me to suffer.."
