"Great area for shopping and great food. There are quite a few different types of restaurants here, so there is something here for everyone. There Is a nice parking lot in the back that's convenient to get in and out of. It's a decent spot for out of towners or locals as well. We frequent the area and have foe many, many years now."
"This is a great area to explore in St Loius. We stayed at the moonrise hotel and didn't even use are car for the time we were in town. Lots of shops and nightlife."
"It's a cool laid back part of town, similar to Greenwich village in NY. There are all types in UCity, poverty-stricken, Hippies, rich folks, Rich Folks who act like their poor, head shops, Fancy Dining, great date spots, vintage vinyl, blowing, places to hang out, a few places to get drinks but no flat out just bars."
"Been spending time here since I was a kid. Not as great as it used to be, but still a really good place to spend time. Lots of good restaurants, bars, concert venues and other things to do day and night. Definitely an eclectic group of people here. Also very easy to get to and centrally located close to the city and Forest Park."
"Side street singer, old buildings, nice sites, Delmar Loop is a great place to walk around and burn some calories. Unfortunately some of the stores are closed down but it is a pleasant walk with beautiful scenery. There are some interesting stores to check out and make sure to view the stars on the streets. If you get hungry along the way, try out the Fitz 's Root Beer. Prices aren't bad, one portion is big enough for 2 people and the root beer will remind you of how a root beer should taste. We went during the week when it was very quiet but I'm sure on the weekend this place is buzzing."
