"Marie is highly knowledgeable and compassionate. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt like I was in the best hands ever! Thank you Marie!!!"
"Absolute worst experience ever! I feel like they sent me home to die! I went there yesterday having MAJOR pain to the point I was going into shock. I couldn’t sit or hardly stand or walk. They refused to treat me or even refer us to a surgeon. We even made them get another opinion frim other staff there. Well today I went to the hospital in Joplin and low and behold my blood is septic! I have a 4” internal abscess. I also had a 3” external abscess pop up over night! My recommendation is to stay clear from this place because they literally could care less. This is the right place to go if you don’t want to be alive!"
"I had to be seen in the ER recently and I was not pleased with how I was treated. I came in with a migraine that has lasted more then 18 hours after taking medication to help which didn't improve. I had a nurse name Larry(name on his badge) he touched all of the packages and opened them with NO gloves on.. put gloves on to put the needle in but ripped a piece of glove off his finger so he could feel my vein.. he put 2 kinds of medication through my IV and didn't tell me what he was putting in it.. I was not allowed to bend my arm since he had a regular needle for my iv which made it very uncomfortable. I asked to have it taken out because it was hurting and I also had to use the restroom. They gave me Benadryl and a nausea medication.. how does that have anything to do with a migraine? As I was coming back from the restroom I had asked for a doctor's note for work in case my migraine was worse in the morning and a blonde lady sitting there said "so she's just here to get a doctor's note then?" That was just rude.. I've had good care at this hospital before but that was horrible"
"This was my first time receiving services at Mercy Carthage but I had taken my mother there previously for some tests. Both times the staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Everything was explained to me about my procedure and I was even able to get it done on a Saturday! I was even able to get it started earlier than I expected."
"The staff at this physical therapy office are excellent! They took the time to evaluate what the problem was, all while being kind and compassionate. They are professional, but also friendly and enjoyable to be around. They set up a physical therapy plan for me to do at their facility according to my needs and explained the exercises I need to do at home."
