"Shopping in this store is always a wonderful experience. Checking out is another story. Hence the 4 & not 5 stars. The newly remodeled checkouts leave much to be desired,especiallyfor folks like me who tend to buy more( cart full) & spend between 300 to 600 weekly. Not only did they add more self check outs( yuck), but they took out all the regular long conveyor type cashier lanes and the ones they kept they replaced them with much shorter conveyors so when people like me go to check out with a loaded down cart by themselves( which you'd think walmart wants more customers like me whom buys a loaded down cartfull..) we can't put all our items on the conveyor begore the bagging turnstile gets full fast. So we are forced to get another cart or wait on another cart to be brought. And then you guessed it either try to get help taking out two carts (or what I do to them transfer over my two carts back into one), and irritating would be an understatement. Trully almost makes me want to shop elsewhere and take my 300 to 600 weekly to another store who won't make me Check myself out or who won't make me go through the shorter conveyor fiascos.Then even after all that,if one item( say a 12 pk of soda or a package of water isn't bagged I get asked for receipt leaving...seriously who could have missed the usual 10 minute checking out fiasco now turned into almost 25 minutes 15 feet away from the door greeters?????"

"They have all my essentials fully stocked. Lots of seasonal products on display up front now. Truck friendly. Clean inside with both self serve and cashiers at checkout, mostly smooth, no wait checkout. Close to interstate and shopping."

"I've seen tidier Walmarts but I've also seen ones that were a complete mess. My general experience has been that the further I get from Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, the worse the stores tend to be. Not always but it seems that way. We're here in Carthage which is only about an hour away. Mens wear was very tidy. Grocery section was good but I spotted some opportunities for better leveling and too many cardboard boxes on the shelves. Restrooms were clean. I had chosen this Walmart because they do tolerate overnight RV parking in their lot. Arriving at 9:00pm and then leaving at 6:30am, I did stop in for a few snacks and such. Otherwise, I was parked and undisturbed for the night in my Sprinter van before filling up with very inexpensive gas in the morning and heading onwards."
