Super 8 by Wyndham Springfield North I-44

"FILTHY HOTEL ROOM. Don't stay here. This hotel needs major attention to cleanliness and renovation. The bathroom was absolutely filthy and disgusting. I needed a break from a very long drive while traveling. I've stayed at Super8 hotels in the past and they were acceptable, BUT NOT THIS ONE. I should have demanded a refund, but there wasn't anyone at the desk to even talk to. Ridiculous. Never again."

"Our room was dirty, but the black mold in bathroom was disgusting the ceiling was covered. Bed was clean, no remote for tv but person working did get that fixed. When complained about mold in morning person just said thanks. WOW!"

"Booked a room for the hotel through AGODA. Great price ($45) and good location so thought it would be a great choice. Get to the hotel to check in and it has a $250 security deposit required. It doesn't say anything about this on the info page about the hotel on Agoda and it doesn't say anything about this on the Super 8 website for this hotel. When I was surprised when they asked for it and said I wanted to cancel the guy at the desk became very rude and upset. Didn't make it past the lobby but just with what I was dealing with trying to check in I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"Not the worst roadside motel I've stayed in, but i wouldn't go back. Room didn't feel clean at all, black hair stuck all over the shower walls. I'm a redhead, it was NOT my hair. Really made me feel like i needed a shower after taking a shower. Surprisingly quiet, decently friendly staff, but i want to disinfect everything i brought into that room with me."

"First my reservation needed “cancelled”, then even though I requested it be pet friendly due to needing my service animal and needing a bottom floor room on the phone I was then given a room with a floor that had a set of steps. Room was filthy, carpet disgusting, the window had no lock and the screen was half popped off, I took multiple photos. As a medically needy person this poses an even greater threat to my safety. The room was malodorous, the bathroom was beyond gross. We literally stayed less then 15 minutes. The woman at the front desk was impatient, and rude, she tried to hide my reservation paper. Then she charged my account twice. If I could give this negative stars I would. Don’t go here it’s not worth stars because it’s a black hole."
