"We were pleasantly surprised. The location is great, with a trolley stop right outside the office. Much less expensive than the historic hotels downtown, although we love those too. The room was spotless clean, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, and the a/c worked great in the extremely hot weather! No, it’s not a 5-star hotel, but it is a very nice basic motel. When they were out of coffee creamer that morning, the manager went back & got milk from his own refrigerator for our coffee! We will be back!!"

"Owners lied about the pool. They assured us it would be open come summer, come to find out it has been down for years. At least 2017. Also the curtains were very thin and woke up to a very early bright sun at 6 a.m. every morning, including headlights in the middle of the night. Better curtains would have helped."

"The lady I delt with (i think was the owner but didnt get her name) was extremely sweet. She took care of me right away and was very kind. However, the room wasnt very clean. I let my 1 year old daughter crawl on the floor and within minutes her legs were coved in dirt. I found a piece of food and a bottle cap lid under the bed when i dropped my keys. I sat down on one bed and it nearly collapsed underneath me. I have worked for a hotel company before as a housekeeper, it is hard to keep up if you are not fully staffed. I am not at all mad about the stay because the possible owner was the only worker i saw. She was both working front desk and housekeeper. She was most likely the only one there. I would stay again if they are able to bring in more staff to clean more efficiently. Not a horrible place for me. 8/10"
