"Do not hesitate to go!!!! My husband and I are from are from Texas and we wanted sun and water but did not want to deal with the spring break college kids. So we opted for a beautiful cabin on the lake to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We made an amazing choice. This place was quiet, beautiful, comfortable and cozy. My husband and I hardly left the room except to go to dinner on our actual anniversary night. We cooked all of our meals the 4 days we were there. A lot of mom and pop restaurants not super far away. Walmart dollar tree for little kitchen necessities. The resort was beautiful. The scenery was beautiful. The lake was serene…. Can not wait to go back and the staff and groundskeepers were very kind and accommodating."

"Just finished up a weekend family reunion! There were plenty of accommodation types for everyone’s needs. The facility is great for families and kids. Pool, all kinds of games, and playground equipment for children. The staff is very responsive to any type of request. Wish there was an easier access to the water and a beach for guests. There is a nice pool for kiddos as well! Great experience for our family!"

"We just had our family reunion this weekend and it was wonderful. We utilized a home, hotel rooms, townhouse, and cabins. All the accommodations were great. The rooms were all very clean, comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms and nicely equipped kitchens! The furnishings are comfortable and much nicer than most hotels. We also utilized the cafe one evening for a potluck and it worked great. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with a wide variety and selection, including biscuits and gravy, sausage, pastry, waffles, bagels and a delicious variety of fruit. The resort staff was exceptional, they were friendly, efficient and actually came by and personally checked on us and asked if we needed anything. The resort manager Tracy was awesome and so nice to work with in making arrangements. My family was very impressed and everyone agreed that we need to return next year! Thanks Candlewyck Cove Resort for an awesome experience!!"

"This was such an amazing place to have our family vacation! The rooms were clean and updated and the A/C worked great! Beds were comfortable and we didn't hear any neighbors and the resort was full! We had everything we needed in our rooms - but, if we hadn't, the hard working staff was right there to help! Weekend breakfast was amazing! It was so close to town, not miles down lake roads! We will be coming back every year & recommending to all family and friends. Thank you everyone at Candlewyck Resort for making our vacation exceed our expectations!"

"We were missing a can opener and they provided it promptly. Staff on dock and land are polite and eager to please. Comfy bed and AC that works well to combat the humidity when you retreat indoors. We didn't partake in provided breakfast but heard it was decent. Short drive to town if you need to grab groceries or a floaty."
