"Do you like cute animals? This place has well taken care of horses, sheep, chickens, and goats. Do you like history? This place has that, too! Take a tour of the museum, the property and the house. The employees are wear period attire which adds to the immersive experience! Definitely don't forget to take a stage coach ride! Very affordable place and worth every penny! I cannot recommend this gem enough!"
"It's really interesting the history surrounding this family and their home. We had a great time. Plaques all over with information. Fresh cooked bread baked like the olden days. Super neat"
"Took my 5 yeah old granddaughter to check out the farm. Got to see some animals. Ride in a stagecoach and even see the toys they might have played with in the 1800's. Talked to the blacksmith about how they made the horseshoes that go on the horses feet. It doesn't take long to see everything but it's well worth the outing."
"Absolutely loved this place! All the staff were extremely friendly. The blacksmith and a little girl named Daisy were probably my favorites of the entire tour. The farm still operates as if it were 1865. It's a very cool experience if you're into the old time/old west history stuff. Very educational as well. Absolutely loved it and even learned a couple of new games while we were there! If you haven't been, I strongly suggest going and definitely check out their museum. I think I'm going to take my youngest back to see it next summer!"
"We had a wonderful visit! We spent about 2.5 hours here with three little boys, but I could have stayed longer. The workers/volunteers were SO friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the farm and of the time period. There were so many hands-on things to do for the kids, and they loved the animals roaming the farm. I am eager to return again!"
