Holiday Inn Express & Suites Olathe South, an IHG Hotel 15475 South Rogers Road, Olathe, KS 66062

"We chose this hotel for 2 reasons, 1. After traveling this route multiple times we found Holiday Inn's to be typically clean, comfortable and affordable. 2. This was one of very few hotels that are dog friendly. That being said, our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had an odd smell that bothered me but not my spouse. And the electric outlet seemed to free float in the wall. Besides that, breakfast was nice and fresh every morning and the coffee decent. I always love the Cinnamon rolls, those alone would always make the stay worthwhile."

"Stayed here when we visited KC for the Chiefs wildcard playoff game. Arrived at 1pm hoping to check-in early. Staff accommodated us and were very friendly. Room was clean. TV was very large for a hotel. Free dove shower products. Free breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend!"

"DO NOT STAY!!! I booked this hotel room on the IHG app and the pictures of the hotel were nice. We got there at 11:30 at night while driving through snow. The pictures did not show all the problems below. Please be aware!! Should’ve looked at the reviews prior to booking a 2-day stay. We didn’t stay the second night needless to say. 1. Rust in the tub. 2. Cleanliness was not up to par. The elevator had hand prints and dust. Dust on all of the base boards. Windows not wiped or cleaned. 3. Room smelled of mildew and carpets were wet. 4. The green light on the smoke detector were covered with breathe right strips?? 5. The tv was blue in color. Couldn’t change the settings. 6. Breakfast food was cold and not replenishment. 7. Staff looked unhappy, tired, and overworked."

"GREAT place to stay! Hotel was immaculate and the staff went above and beyond. I dropped a gallon of distilled water by the car in the rain, (needed for a CPAP machine). The young man at the desk was so kind and got a pitcher to salvage what was left in the bottle. We were extremely grateful for his help! DEFINITELY a great place to stay!"

"Not my favorite hotel, unfortunately. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean enough which is really all you can ask for with the price we paid, but other than that we weren’t super impressed. Very small hotel and really dingy. The lighting throughout the hotel made the vibe really harsh and unwelcoming. The walls throughout the hotel definitely needed some work. All scuffed up and stuff smeared on them. In the bathroom, the toilet wouldn’t stop running throughout the remainder of our stay, and there were rust stains dripping down the wall in the shower. The elevator was really gross. It’s definitely been renovated, but not very well. They also ran out of towels in the morning. Luckily we had a spare in our room because our mom needed one to take a shower. I don’t want to sound too harsh as the important aspects of our stay were okay (staff and cleanliness), but it was just uncomfortable. A little embarrassing as we tried to book something comfortable for our family, but we missed the mark on that. Next time we’re in town, we’ll try the Candlewood next door. We’ve heard they are much nicer."
