"Definitely not a place that's really worth visiting twice; you pretty much see everything the first visit. But if you like Precious Moments then you'll be glad you went. Growing up I had several Precious Moments statues, as did my siblings and my parents, so I enjoyed the nostalgia of it. I especially thought the Disney statues were pretty cool."

"We were driving to Iowa from Texas and happen to see a sign on the freeway pointing to this place. Not only have we never heard of it, we didn't know something like this existed. Well, 2 hours later, we left very impressed. It was pretty amazing, all the things they built. And it didn't cost us anything. I'm not a collector or anything of precious moments merchandise, so I didn't know what to think, but I left very impressed. It's well worth a detour to see."

"We only come here once in a while because of the drive but it is a really nice day trip. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept and its a very peaceful atmosphere. There are lots of cool spots for pictures and benches for those who need to sit and rest. The chapel is truly spectacular and my favorite thing about it is the stained glass windows, which were made in Redding California. They are truly stunning. Make sure to check out the store with limited edition signed figurines. They're really cute. Make sure your cashier gives you a stamp card for purchases over $35. The museum and gift shop got closed due to a fire dept visit. Make sure 71 is not closed going northbound out of Carthage when you go or you'll have a bit of a detour."
