Shoe Carnival

"I was here today for about 45 minutes trying to find shoes for my 11 yo. Three employees were hanging out and socializing by the door not doing anything for most of that time. I asked for help sizing my son because he’s in between adult and child sizes with a wide foot, so he’s hard to fit. They pointed out the foot sizers but did not help us. Again I asked for help finding his size and they gave me an aisle number then said “we can order anything you want!” And walked away. Not only was customer service essentially nonexistent but generally I found low quality shoes at high prices. While producers are responsible for quality, and pricing to a certain degree, I honestly expected a better variety of choices. The children’s section mostly ended at size 3, with almost no wide size options. The adult section began at size 7. This leaves a huge gap in options. If customer service has been good I would have left feeling like it wasn’t a total waste of time. But having to size my child’s foot myself and then wander around looking for what we needed after asking for help twice leaves me feeling like this store was an absolute waste of time."

"After being there for a while, a guy came around, and he was very helpful. I was starting to get annoyed by the fact that there was 3 girls up front talking who didn't even acknowledge us. When we were waiting in line, the same guy came up to help move the line because 1 girl was helping a customer while another girl was playing with her phone"
