Price Chopper

"I have been coming for years daily and I liked this one the best. The people were the nicest people. It is a corporation but small enough to retain a family grocery store feel. This is what drew me to this one. I was going to Hy-Vee. I have had issues with the ever increasing cost of groceries and I have had to split tenders there all three times unsuccessfully, either my card gets shut down due to Multiple attempts, The split tender does not work as intended etc. It is visibly an inconvenience. I know I promised I would not inconvenience them any further but I have to stop sometimes, IT is on my way home. I was hoping at a frequency one time or so per week. I leave in the rush hour and I have to backtrack to get to Hy-Vee daily. So I was hoping would it still be ok to come in once in a while? instead of none? I will use alternatives as much as I can."

"This store has one of the strangest selections of items of any grocery store I go to. It is regularly out of common items, and the location of items is very random. The lack of a deli is enough for me to not recommend this store. I usually try and avoid this store because it's getting increasingly rundown and in a serious need of a remodel. However, the employees are incredibly friendly."

"Im not sure what has happeneed to this price chopper.....but its starting to feel like the main course is a push towards processed foods. Theyvre gotten rid of the deli/sliced meat counter, and the amount of times i have struggled to find fresh produce has been increasing to the point i wont shop there at all. Wish they'd revert back to the way things were."

"This was a really weird experience. Stepping in this store is like going back in the past to the 80's. Very old and outdated. The other thing was that they were storing produce in the salad bar. They also were storing chips and almonds where produce would be. There also were hardly any customers in the store at all, and I have no idea how this place stays in business. It does have a charm about it though being so old. One other thing of note is that this store has no actual meat counter, and we're storing carts back where the meat counter workers would be."

"Spacious aisles and good stock of food except for fresh fillets that day. Overall good shopping experience and they offer lots of products your local pharmacy store would hold. Self checkout had plenty of Lanes. That's one less trip for those who like convenience!"
