"Amazing customer service! I came in to get my first backpack for a backpacking trip coming up and I had no idea what I was looking for. Alexander was so helpful the entire time! He was super l knowledgeable about all of it and answered any questions I had without making me feel dumb. He even offered for me to try out his own personal tent for my trip before I went and spent money on one that I may not end up liking. There was also one other staff member in the store and she was super friendly as well."

"Lucas and Acacia were phenomenal! Great conversation. Came in to replace a hat my dog chewed up, they didn’t have any in stock. Lucas owned the exact one and gave it to me! Talk about giving a shirt off your back. Acacia ordered me up another hat as well, and kept me laughing throughout the transaction. Make sure to swing on in and see them. Customer service like that is going extinct."

"The selection and convenience were truly great, but the staff and service was fantastic! The entire team was friendly, knowledgable, and struck that perfect balance of laid-back & helpful. Lucas answered some questions, helped me arrange for another store to ship a last-minute Christmas gift to my parents' home, and then checked in on me a few days later to ensure all went well. We were very well cared-for! We haven't been into the mall, let alone Gearhead, since ... well ... since having kids. :) I remembered liking the store, but was happily surprised to notice the great selection of brands and gear. Pumped to have such a well-stocked, convenient, and friendly/helpful shop to return to. *Bonus note: Christmas Eve shopping at "the mall" is not what it used to be. We went in just to mill around, so maybe we weren't carrying the burden of last-minute shopping requirements, but the place was relaxed, almost quiet. Whether you must go or if, like us, you're just taking in the Christmas Eve energy, maybe try going to the mall next year. :)"
