"Our original warranty with Lowes had us scheduled for service four days after our report. Cooks called us and were able to get us in the same day! Patrick was sent to our house on the service call for our dryer. He was very knowledgeable and had the issue fixed quickly. He also took the time to give us some maintenance tips to keep our washer and dryer running well. I can’t thank you enough!"

"Patrick was very professional and knowledgeable and helped us fix our dishwasher when we had several issues. He was very committed to following through until everything was fixed and working correctly and made an effort to be as efficient as possible. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to others in the area and I highly recommend them for the greater Springfield area. Will definitely call them again if we have appliance issues!"

"Posted 1/14/20 I really appreciate your response. I will continue to use Cook’s appliance when needed. One mediocre encounter doesn’t steer me away from using a company. Some times first impressions are not always the best and I get that. But if did know about the other second $235. I would have been able to tell my warranty company about it and I could have been reimbursed for it if I told them ahead of time. But due to not being told about it till the last day of service, I won’t be reimbursed because they were never given that estimate ahead of time. This is the main reason for my frustration. Thank you guys for your service. Posted 1/13/20 My experience in the beginning was great, my technician Travis was great too. But it was the last day they came out when I was very unhappy. I paid $235 for an initial service which they told me about. But then I had to pay it again at the end because I didn’t buy parts through them. This is why am I upset. I called Cooks appliance many times to let them know that the parts have come for my product and not once did they tell me that I would be charged again a service fee of $235 because I didn’t buy parts through them. My technician stated that he told my wife but my wife told me she was never told and I very much believe my wife. There is definitely some discrepancy and lack of communication with Cooks Appliance. An example would be when I would call and ask for information regarding part numbers so my warranty company could order them, again the had the opportunity to tell me they would charge me the same service fee again, but they did not. Also when I would call regarding part numbers or reschedule a service, it would take them 4-5 hours to get back to me because they have to pull my original ticket, and there were times they would not get back to me at all, I would have to call back again the next day. But when my technician Travis calls during a service to get numbers/codes from a ticket from months ago it takes them 5-10 minutes, I understand that they are busy but they can’t be busy every time I call. So this experience wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible. They are all very friendly. But I paid them $470 due their lack of communication, the experience would have been great if the communication was more clear. But the job is done and Travis did it well."

"Fantastic! I have been using Cook’s repair service since I’ve been in Ozark and I have never been disappointed! Reggie came out on a Friday to check my washing machine after my bulldog chewed the rubber seal. He was able to repair it enough for use until the new part came in on Wednesday. I received a call on Monday and he was out within about an hour and replaced the parts. I love when a company under promises and over delivers. Reggie was absolutely fantastic - extremely nice and friendly. He even took a few extra minutes to check the drain. Thank you again for the great service!"

"** UPDATE ** The store manager personally called and apologized for our troubles while purchasing our replacement part through their establishment. He was extremely polite and apologetic. We were impressed with the genuine care and concern he had for us after our negative experience with his store. We do feel confident that this store would provide great customer service in the future. After the phone call we also feel content knowing that every individual at that store was reprimanded for failing to contact us in a timely manner. Extremely unimpressed with the lack of communication. We ordered a replacement part for our oven through this business. We went in to the store on a Saturday and were greeted with minimum politeness, the salesman took our email addresses and phone numbers and we were told they would call us as soon as it arrived. We were promised the part by Tuesday. We waited to hear back from them, and finally on Wednesday we called them to ask about the status of the part. They said that the truck was running behind and they would not be able to tell us when the part would be in. No big deal - a call would have been appreciated but we were understanding. Fast forward three more days - we call again (hoping that the squeaky wheel will eventually get greased) and are informed that the part had been in since FRIDAY. We were less than impressed with their lack of communication."
