"I so absolutely regret going here to get my wisdom teeth removed. From the very beginning every single person I have interacted with has been needlessly rude and unhelpful. During my initial consult, I was regularly rushed on the phone, not allowed to ask questions, and apparently upsetting the woman I was speaking to for asking questions ‘out of turn’. Not only that, but I was reprimanded for not watching the pre-surgery video that I never received because this same woman spelled my name wrong in my email. Onto the surgery itself, I was again not given opportunities to ask questions which was very frustrating. About half of the video I watched urged patients to ask any and all questions and the answers I got for my questions were genuinely helpful. However, I guess two questions is the limited amount I get to ask because I was interrupted every time I tried to speak afterwords. And, any time I did raise concerns before the surgery, I was quickly dismissed. Whatever, at the end of the day I got what I needed and everything went fine. That was until I got to the pharmacy and they put the wrong address on on prescription. Thankfully, everything was fine and I got my medicine, but is it really so hard to copy and paste an address? Even with all this, I still didn’t think I was so upset as to write a review. Following my surgery, everything was going fine until it came time to start cleaning out my mouth with the syringe. In the morning, everything was fine, but that night I noticed some weird growth in the back of my mouth. It just turned out to be a chunk of dead gum that would eventually come out, but I was terrified because I had no idea what it was and there was nothing in the care sheet that sounded remotely close to what I was experiencing. The next day I called the office to explain my situation and was met with the rudest employee. Before I could fully explain what was wrong, she told me that whatever my issue was was my fault because I wasn’t cleaning my mouth well enough. Okay?? For what it’s worth, I have followed the care instructions exactly. Regardless, my issue still exists and no amount of shaming me for what I have or have not done isn’t going to solve it. So what should I do? Call back if I have the same issue tomorrow. Okay but what should I do now? Suffer? I genuinely considered calling my personal dentist to see if they could help me with this since it is so obvious that no one here is going to help me and this phone call in particular is the last I care to interact with these people. I suppose if I continue to have problems in the future I will simply suffer because that is an infinitely better outcome than this."
"Getting dental work done has always been a high source of anxiety for me. When I came in for a consult for wisdom teeth removal and a dental implant, the team was absolutely phenomenal. Wonderful patient education, incredibly kind, and when I came in to get my guide done for the implant procedure, Dr. Coffey expedited my procedure so I could get it done over spring break, which I am SO thankful for. Overall, an incredible team with your best intentions put first. So grateful we came here."
"This was absolutely one of the best dental experiences that I've had in my life! They are so understanding from the very beginning to help you get through the process and I do have to add that once I got my tooth cool I didn't even know he pulled it I did not feel a thing. I've always been scared to go to a dentist but I think God that they have places like this one that makes it a lot easier. I've never been so excited to get my teeth fixed. Thank you to everyone in that office especially the doctor. He was very relatable and I thank him for everything. Oh and thanks to Matthew as well."
"Very professional and efficient operation. I was seen on time both times I have visited, which I appreciate. The staff was courteous and relational. Dr. Shaikh and Andrew made me feel comfortable, answered whatever questions I had, and provided very good care. The procedure went well and for me, I experienced no pain during or afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone."
"Had a very poor experience here today. Staff was extremely dismissive towards my anxiety about the whole procedure, and Dr. Shaikh was very short with me when I expressed such. I went in needing all four wisdom teeth removed. Woke up realizing only one had actually been removed. I had asked prior to surgery, over the phone, if I could get a prescription for something for said severe anxiety and she basically laughed and said ‘no I’ll be fine’. Well I wasn’t. I ended up subconsciously trying to fight the anesthesia, my blood pressure and heart rate were said to have gone too high and I was shaking during the procedure. I’m unaware of any of this happening, this is what I was told by Dr. Shaikh. I was also told that I need to go find somewhere that can give me more anesthesia (my Dr had mentioned he was giving me a light dose, so I’m not sure why they couldn’t have just done this). A really, really disappointing and experience. The staff were just very dismissive. I will give Dr. Shaikh his flowers where they are due. He said he didn’t want to do anything unsafely, and removed only the tooth I had the most problem with. This whole situation felt avoidable. Again, just very disappointed in the experience I had. It’s upsetting that I specifically brought up this issue and was told it would be fine. It feels like I was stripped of my time and money and if I was told they didn’t have the proper procedures in place to care for me, I would have chose another establishment to avoid all of this unnecessary distress. Cannot wait to have to go through this healing process all over again!"
