The parts they sold me are way over priced. When I asked about that they said they use “high quality parts” Do not come here"

"Had another LOCAL automotive shop verify that El Kompa mechanic BRIAN tried to steal my transmission and replaced other good parts with bad ones! Thanks brain! We really appreciate this around Christmas time. When I call, they hang up on me as soon as I mention I own the Mitsubishi. EDITED - I stopped by El Kompa as a drive by and saw who I assumed the owner to be standing outside the shop. I brought my paperwork verifying their incorrect diagnosis & maltreatment of my transmission. The receptionist did the translating. The mechanic came in to give me a cash refund and made a big point to let me know my car left their shop (EL KOMPA) going only 5mph because it was in fact low on oil”while the paperwork from the correcting shop says my car had TOO MUCH oil. Brian is extremely unfriendly & I wouldn’t let him work on a tricycle for a toddler. I paid with card, they refunded with cash weeks later AFTER a post being shared on fb 50x locally throughout the community & this review being left ECT. They never wanted to make anything right beforehand. Happy holidays and thank you for reading! Also I do recommend CREDENCE on walnut in rogers! Very friendly people and they fixed what el Kompa did to try and scam my warranty company!"

"This is not the place to go unless you know exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. I went here with a used vehicle I had just purchased. I had a few things I knew needed looked at and I mentioned that if there was anything else wrong, to fix that as well. I specified that I needed my car to be functional and *safe*. I was told to drop it off first thing in the morning, an evaluation was going to be made and I'd hear back in the early afternoon. I didn't hear back and called at 4pm only to be told they hadn't even looked at my car yet. I got a call the next day with a short list of repairs and I had to remind them of some of my specified concerns, again emphasizing that the main purpose is for my to be *safe*. After several days I was told I could pick up the car and so I went to pay. I was suggested to them by one of their friends and was told to ask about a discount. I did so and was literally laughed at by the clerk. In the end, I paid over $1,000 and found that my front 2 tires were bald and needed replacing and rotating. They didn't even finish everything that was discussed prior and my safety specifications were ignored. I do NOT recommend visiting this place unless you already know and trust the company. Very sad and disappointing experience."
