"The kid who fixed my sandwich was polite. However, I paid $.75 for guac and another $.75 for crispy jalapenos. There is less than 1/4 of a teaspoon of quac and just a few jalapenos. My blt grilled cheese was $7. A little disappointed. Would not had paid an extra $1.50 if I knew I wasn't going to taste the add ons."
"Frustrated with the location at 132nd and Stateline Road. Service has dipped at all QTs lately but for a while these guys were the best. Lately, I assumed it was a staffing issue. But today I got a glimpse into what the real issue is... They were getting some sort of inspection in the kitchen area. I presume the person doing the inspection was a district manager of some kind. Unfortunately well he did his inspection I was forced to wait much longer for my food than normal. And despite me sitting there and him looking at me more than once there was no effort made to take care of the customer in a quick manner. Worse yet I hear him talking about food particles on tools, which is awesome, but only minutes later watched him cross-contaminate food with gloves he wore and touched other items with. When leadership sets these bad examples it flows downhill just as quickly as water does over a cliff. In the end I was late for my next location on my route, the extras I added to my sandwich and paid for we're not put on, and my drink spilled on me outside because it was overfilled. All under the watchful eye of a district manager. Take care of the customers."
"I'm writing this review because the rating on this QT is absolutely unfairly-grounded. Reviewing the low-rating comments, I observe that there is ONE possibly justified one, which QT promptly handled. The others include one complaining that QT stopped serving breakfast at 9am, and a conspiracy theorist declaring that the price increases we're seeing are a consequence of this location's illuminati-like manipulation of the other stores' pricing. Yanno, as opposed to the actions of a certain Eastern European country's illegal annexation of their neighbor that has cost the world some 5M barrels of oil PER DAY, or the destruction of fully 1/15 of the worlds' food calories. Nah. It's probably a result of the employee-collective-owned gas station in the midwest (causing me to hesitate to prepend the "blithering" to their respective "idiots" not whatsoever). Personally, I loathe it when I'm trying to get a review of, say, a product on a website named after a rain forest (and that was founded by Business Gollum), and find that there're reviews saying "1 star! I bought the wrong size!" and "1 star! Shipping took to long!". Mark me here, my fellow humans: if you haven't got something USEFUL to say (i don't give a DAMN if it's NICE; USEFUL: Applicable. Actionable. Utilitarian) then do those of us trying to actually get a gauge on a product, business, or service's quality a favor and go blog about it in your LiveJournal. I assure you: you're the only ones that care, and just make it harder on the rest of us. Anyway, that all said: this is a QuikTrip. I believe it's layout #3. It's clean, well-stocked (both with products as well as satisfied, happy employees), is one of the few places one can buy ethanol-free gasoline for a few cents more (if you don't know what this means, then humor me: switch your lawnmower over to it for one summer. You can thank me later), and, at least in my experience, has gas prices that are around the median for the demographic of the neighborhood. Regarding their being part of the Illuminati's shadowy cabal that sets gas prices city-, state-, nation-, or worldwide, well, I invite you to check prices downtown, New York City, anywhere in California, or anywhere at all in Europe, Asia, Australia, or Africa - pretty much anywhere else on Earth that's not the middle east, Bellarus, or a couple tiny island nations in Asia that ARE the supply line, then join me in the realization that, if these guys are the Illuminati? They SUCK at it. Pretty great gas station though. A carbon copy of the REST of the QT line."
"It's getting soo pricey on everything n they are the 1st ones that raised the price of gas n all the other gas stations follow"
"So glad we got this QT close to our house. Standard QT experience there, which is great. Store and restrooms are always clean. Gas pump area is clean. Kitchen is good. Staff is friendly and helpful."
