"Love this place. It's usually pretty busy on the weekends (for good reason), so get in queue before coming in. The eggs Benedict is my favorite. The hot chocolate was adorable and a hit with the young one. Service is always fast and friendly."

"Very much enjoyed Homegrown! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a positive family friendly atmosphere that values kindness. As we waited to be seated, I looked over their stand of goods they sell. I included a photo but the children’s books on kindness and gratitude were particularly charming. It was fairly busy but the wait wasn’t long as their service seems good and it’s not intimidatingly crowded. I started with a latte which was great. I followed it up with a Sunrise (juice) that was very refreshing as well. The menu is rather large which can be overwhelming but I can appreciate lots of good options. I had the florentine eggs benedict and I was quite pleased! On top of everything I enjoyed their choice of music being played overhead as well. I’d love to come back!"

"This place is beautiful. It is also great to know that everything in the restaurant was made in Kansas. The service was great, friendly and fast. The only drawback was that the food came out warm.... The taste was great but if it had been hot it would have been outstanding. This is a newly opened restaurant so they are probably still working on how to keep poached eggs hot... I will try them again because of their unique offerings. And again the flavor was great just needed to be hot."

"I recently dined at this charming restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Although there was a wait upon arrival, it seemed to signal the place's popularity. While we chose to sit indoors, I couldn't help but notice the outdoor space, which looks ideal for enjoying a meal in warmer weather. The staff were quite accommodating, especially when we requested a table with a better view. This meant a slightly longer wait, but it was well worth it. As vegetarians, we had a bit of a chat with the server to substitute eggs in our dishes, and they were very helpful. The food was flavorful, though serving it a bit warmer would have been nice. A special mention must be made for the honey-based coffee – it was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant really stands out – it's warm and welcoming. I'm already looking forward to revisiting in the warmer months to take advantage of their outdoor seating!"

"Good little breakfast spot. Coffee cake was the star of the show (no photo because it was eaten so fast). Service was interesting. Our server was quick at the beginning but as the meal went on we saw less and less of her, and when we did she was very short with us. She may have gotten busy, which is completely understandable, but I would have preferred she told us. Overall a great spot to try, and if you do get the coffee cake."
