"I frequent the Belton Longhorn for lunch, as they offer burgers and combos of soup, salad and potato choices at reasonable prices. As I was leaving the restaurant last week, I noticed their menu board announcing that “lamb chops are back by popular demand”. My wife and I dined there tonight and the lamb exceeded my expectations. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and wilted spinach, they were excellent. The Outback across town doesn’t always have lamb so Longhorn is my new (and much closer) go-to place. Also, the waitress who served us tonight was excellent as well. Great atmosphere too. Made for a perfect evening."

"It's telling that we were so completely happy with our latest visit to Longhorn that even the 30 minute wait for a table was enjoyable. I don't know how they manage it, but even in the crowded waiting area, we could hold a conversation amongst ourselves without shouting. The food is tremendously fresh - do try the strawberry pecan salad. It's so fresh! They know just how to season a steak, and their bread is awesome, too. The stars of the Longhorn show, in my opinion, are the staff. From hostess to waitress and everyone else we encountered, we were treated with gracious respect and courtesy. This is where we bring out of town friends and family - it's our favorite spot for a nice sit-down evening in a 50 mile radius."
