"Our nonprofit has hosted 3 events here. They helped us book Kim Keys and her band--absolutely amazing soul/funk music. The house chef knocked it out of the park with baked fish, fried chicken, and fully vegan sides: greens, green beans, sweet potatoes and salad. We did an Afrofuturism theme and the black tablecloths/chair covers and blue sashes were perfect. We had ~75 people and could have comfortably fit plenty more."

"If I could give negative stars I would. This owner and venue is by far the worst. I've had multiple instances where he has been rude & inconsiderate. This is bad business and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else."

"This venue was booked a week ago, deposit paid. While speaking with Nathan Barnes, he told me another lady was trying to book the same day but she didn’t have money. I paid for venue for 4 HOURS for $450! The DAY BEFORE OUR EVENT, which is my Aunt’s Repast I was told we had to adjust OUR TIME for the next event. He wanted to give us 3 hours for $400 which would start while we’re still at the funeral!! I told them we needed venue from 1-5pm and they agreed!!!! These people are terrible. This building, which I had not seen inside of is old, outdated, DIRTY, smelled of Stale CIGARETTES, MOLDLY, and a significant water leak about 10 feet inside the front door. Nathan Barnes pushed this ‘mishap’ on his business partner and then he disappeared. *What venue is this much and then $150 MORE to use the kitchen? This place is TRASH."
