"Replaced a gas tank and seat on my Suzuki for a recall. They did not properly hook up my gas tank which caused my check engine light to turn on and an extremely strong gas smell. It took me taking my vehicle to a local shop( I live over 2hrs away) to find they had not hooked my tank up properly. Thankfully F & M Automotive Repair in Manhattan, KS found their mistake and fixed it for free! I highly recommend NOT taking your vehicle here for any service."
"I love big nice dealerships with multiple brands! I love helpful and friendly people too! I was there for a recall issue with my Suzuki and I was in and out within the hour! And now, I know where there is an Alfa-Romeo dealer!"
"I have taken my Suzuki to Northtowne for three service recalls, and on each occasion I have been really impressed with their outstanding performance. They are always very friendly, but highly proficient and professional. The last time, Scott did a great job of checking me in, and he even found a guest office so I could work remotely. I recommend them highly."
"Service writer Matt (I think that was his name)did a great job at not taking all my money. He did the services that were in most need and did the most cost effective option instead of installing new parts. This is the only place where you can get factory service on Suzuki’s and him and the mechanic did great. My ride hasn’t driven this nice in a long time!"
"I deliver the vehicle. Don was the guy who helped me. He took the vehicle and I was not in a rush to get it back as I was heading out of town. Don said he will repair the rear struts and change the oil. He also said he will do a free inspection for other issues. He called on Monday. I dropped off on friday. Don said that I need front struts as they were leaking. He also said that the heat shield is rattling in the exhaust that needs fixed. He said I need a alignment. He said I need to change the timing belt and have a tune up. Don said both front and rear brakes need replaced for 200$ for front brakes and 200$ for rear (whoa 400$ more). Lastly, he said I need new tires. I bought the original tires on the vehicle for around 60$ a piece. He quoted me two tires that would work perfect for 250$. What a joke. No way would I spend that much on a vehicle used to commute to work and that's it. I almost caved in and had a few extra things fixed from what he said. I told him no let's just do rear struts and oil change. Here is the funny thing. Alignment was done not to long ago and the timing belt was changed and vehicle tuned up a few months ago. I started to question their motives. When I got to pick up vehicle I thought maybe I could get a vehicle inspection. It was a different guy looking into the things Don had written down needing fixed. The guy went out and asked a inspector about them. He said the heat shield rattling in exhaust (which he called exhaust leak) would make vehicle fail inspection. So I didn't go any further. I really didn't believe that. So then I took the vehicle to another place to have vehicle inspected and found two tires for 120$ (way better price than 250$ of quote from don). I had them put new tires on and had a vehicle inspection. The vehicle passed inspection. First there was no leak on front struts (lie on someone's part). They said the rattling is more of a annoyance when driving but that would never fail a inspection (another lie). Inspector said one of the front brakes is worn down and needs changed within the next 6 months (wow, still have 6 months of pad and they wanted to change them asap). I know the business is to make money they are in. But integrity should be high up on the list. Don't just say things and quote me a crazy amount of money for fixes. Glad I stopped at another place after picking vehicle up or I would never learned this about them. Very disappointed in them and will never return there. I would recommend not to go there also because of what I went through. They might need to look into employees with higher integrity. I wonder if they do this often to people? Good luck!"
