"Love the food and Kelli is such a sweet spirit. The staff is always great & we always leave full. Don’t let the gas station vibe deter you from stopping in for lunch or dinner."
"Lovely decor, chill atmosphere, intuitive service, amazing cocktails and food. Worth the drive out to Raymore. The exterior is deceptive. It is located at a gas station right beside the convenience store. You would never know that such a gem was waiting to be discovered just inside the doors. The braised short ribs and the Apple and Gouda Crostini were amazing. The Scallop special was very flavorful."
"Kelli's 331 Forever is a diamond in the rough. It's located in the Freedom Stop on highway 58 next to the Phillips 66 gas station. They specialize in gourmet food. I took my 11-year-old son there for his first 3-course meal that cost $127.55 plus tip. We arrived at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. So, we were the only customers at that time. We were greeted by Kelli, the owner, and our server was her daughter. We ordered their Valentine's Dinner for two. First course: mini crab cakes with Cajun remoulade. They were delicious and my son's favorite part of the meal until dessert arrived. He was delighted there were so many different colored ingredients inside the crab cakes. I thought they had great flavor and a hint of spice. Second course: Iceberg BLT Wedge Salad. This was the weakest and least enjoyable part of the meal. The lettuce was crisp and cool, but had brown leopard spots in several sections. The spots were light enough in color that they could have been mistaken for seasoning. Main course: Surf and Turf (Ribeye and Lobster tail) with broccolini and crispy yuokns. They were out of yukons, so they substituted in a potato dish that was like mashed potatoes. The Lobster tail easily came out of the shell. It was very buttery and too salty for my tastes. The ribeye steak was juicy and very enjoyable. Dessert: Pink champagne cake. The cake has a nice flavor. My son's face lot up after tasting it. He said it tasted like his favorite cake that his mom used to make. Which resulted in him trying to eat the whole thing. Overall it was great experience."
"We decided to try this little restaurant at the edge of town in a gas station. Now usually, I do not recommend restaurants in gas stations, but with all good rules this is the exception to that rule. Kelli's 331 Forever was well decorated, smelt nice, had a friendly wait staff, and clean bathrooms. The food was a step up for most restaurants found in Raymore or Belton. I loved that the owner personally came by to talk to us and made sure our experience was wonderful. The waitress was prompt and checked on our drinks often with a friendly word for us and my son. The crostini's left me wanting two more. I loved their use of Maple syrup in the Savory dish and it helped highlight the apples and cheese. The Ravioli was good sized and delightfully full of crab and cheese. The bite of mac and cheese i managed to talk my son into letting me have was delicious and my son made sure to announce that it was the best mac and cheese he had ever had. He also convinced me to buy another portion for him to have for school lunch the next day. The only issue we had at this restaurant was that one of the fish fillets was a little undercooked. The chef did a great job of communicating his unique love of fresh ingredients on the plate and the owner and waitress made us feel so welcome. Overall, this meal was a success and has left me wanting to come again with my husband to further discover what else this little diamond in the rough has to offer. Next time I'm trying the Stroganoff or the Parmesan Crusted Pork Milanese in a balsamic reduction sauce *drool*."
"A true hidden gem! Kelli's has an amazing welcoming atmosphere, live music, a unique variety of upscale American food, and an extensive drink menu. Kelli greeted us as we entered the restaurant and I knew we would be in good hands. It's wonderful to see a small business when they are so far and few between these days. If you're looking for a great place to get some food and drinks this is the one!"
