"I’ve lived a block from this place for a year now. I was excited about being walking distance from a coffee shop. That excitement disappeared when I went in the first time and was greeted with rudeness and a complete lack of any joy from the barista. I gave it another chance and same thing but this time it was also just bad energy in there. If you don’t like your job why bother. The coffee isn’t the best. Higher priced small cups. All this place is is a photo op."

"This is a very quaint coffee shop. Truly a hidden gem. I have driven by many times over and never noticed this place. I have been looking for a solid cup of coffee since returning from Spain, and I found it. I feel the latte was exactly what I wanted. And it is not your basic drip coffee. I will return to this shop again without question. And it is on a popular corner next to 4 Kansas City local spots. So it fits right in. I definitely recommend."
