"Extremely rude woman "assisting" people. When asked about the process she was short and snappy. When asked how long the process was I was told "well I'm answering questions and not working so it will take even longer". Can't believe this is the only place for a vin inspection. Shameful."
"fast friendly. get there early to avoid long wait."
"Both ladies were very friendly. I was there for about an hour. You have to take a number then wait in your vehicle. I got there about 20 minutes before they opened"
"Disaster. I showed up at opening with a car I had just bought from a guy in Missouri. There were about 12-13 vehicles in front of me. Only one person was working the station, and she seemed to keep on task, more-or-less. But after 2-1/2 hours, there were still four vehicles in front of me. I had another appointment to keep and had to give up. I gave my place in the queue to a woman with an energetic (but charming) three-year-old and went away...uninspected and untagged. If the State of Kansas thinks that this imposition on its citizens is really important, it needs to get its act together and properly staff it. At $25 per inspection, there's plenty of money to do it. They ought to be set up to do a minimum of 6 inspections in an hour---that's $150 per hour per inspector. The math works...at least outside government. Or better yet...just drop it and let people look out for themselves!"
"It's a mixed feelings kind of experience. Once it's your turn... you're in and out. But seeing as how they're only open 4.5hrs a day (dont know which days they're open) its can be very busy. I was #9 in line and had to wait a total of 2 hours waiting for a 5 minute inspection and paperwork. The people are very nice and all but that only goes so far. My advice get there at 8-8:30am and get in line before everyone gets there, or wait possibly hours."
